When Pix announced Mk3 Doritos they actually had a one-time Ag-upgrade discount of 50% off. "IF" they do the same thing for this new flippin' pilot currency, "Memorium", you want to be prepared to upgrade your pilots BEFORE v9.3 COMES OUT. Once v9.3 is live you have to buy Memorium to upgrade your pilots.
I wonder if Pix realizes that Memorium make one think "In Memorium" like R.I.P, War Robots.
I apologize if 99% of you know this already, I'm just trying to help out that last 1%.

Well yes and thanks for yr input because I'm sitting here with 14,000 + Au and wondering what to do with it. This whole thing reminds me of when the Doritos were announced. I bought silver + gold and leveled a lot up just to prep. I don’t regret it. |

i'm hesitant to upgrade, just because we know in a yr or so another "rebalance" of sorts, ie currency or any other train wreck will come along and upset the "balance" yet again.

This is why I am the side of burning your gold right now actually. Start getting your value now before something else happens, and there is not much of a use after pilots are gone, so you may as well use it before the undoubtably hard-to-obtain memorium takes over. What are the odds we will see a pilot Au upgrade discount before 9.3 is thrust upon us???
I've been waiting almost a week for the -25%, but at this point when the next -10% comes around (which I hope it does pre 9.3) I'm dumping a huge chunk of my Au then!

I decided to just eat the full cost of power leveling. I doubt one will come at this point (especially since the update could drop at any time) so I am taking the safe route. |

I agree with 079, use it or lose it. I have the option to buy a ton of gold and max some pilots, but I can't be bothered to waste that much money. After I hit 10k subscribers on YouTube, my channel is going to be covering other stuff as well as War Robots. Not worth the extra hassle, this could well be the update that finishes me off. I'll see how bad it is when it hits the live server, and decide then. |

Today is the -10% pilot pre-9.3 and I forfeited and extra 2K Au on early spending. |

although i spent a great portion of gold upgrading all my healer hangar pilots last nite, I think we will have a few more chances before the new headache comes. Feels kinda nice having 2 solid hangars now that can go hard. Then have a backup ready to go hangar of invaders, an up and coming hangar of all the other spiders, and kind of a "just because they are spiders, sorta" hangar.
