I see a lot of your guys having several hundreds of millions of silver, thousands of gold and silver platinum, and highly upgrades hot and weapons and weapons would like ANY advice you guys can give me… I would rather not have hangar advice rn as my hangar changes everyday. I’m just stuck. As I buy quite a bit of equipment I don’t do it that often as I don’t have a job. Much thanks, here’s some pics on my Bots, the amount of resources I have ect.

If you aren’t spending cash, pick a low level gear threshold and absolutely stick to it. Nothing over 1/9, for example. Just pick whatever seems like a happy medium for you and stay.
Over a period of time, you will really start accumulating resources because you don’t need to use yours constantly to keep upgrading to higher levels. Don’t be tempted to “keep up with the Joneses.“
It’s even easier if you pick robots that all use the same weapon types. All heavy, all light, etc. If you picked ones that only use light and medium weapons, you would never need to upgrade heavies. You could continually swap robots that use those weapon types. Sure, certain robot classes would not qualify, but it would save you a ton of resources and save you a bunch of effort and hassle.

It WARMS my heart to see the Mummy Skin LEO front and center! Still have mine. For all the faults of PIX... and there are MANY... they have come up with some timeless designs for some of the bots. Good for you running that thing!!

If you suck, the only solution is to research and practice, especially tactics. Even if you engineer your combat equipment really well, it will underperform without good tactical decisions in combat. There are pinned threads in our Tips & Advice section with tons and tons of practical tips to get better. So my feedback is:
- Research tactics and try them in combat
- Research all the different types of robots and weapons so you know what your enemy can do to you
- For now pick one target to hunt in particular. This doesnt mean dont shoot other targets, but especially keep an eye on your prize and find a way to take it out using good tactical prowess. This largely involves a lot of watching, waiting, positioning, and timing your pursuit and strike well, while staying aware of who else you may be exposing yourself to.
- Lastly, switching your hangar too often right now is part of your problem. By sticking with a relatively set line-up, this will give you time to become increasingly skilled with those mechs and weapons in combat.
It takes time and training to get good. I was in two Champ clans (KAOS, and VOX) for a long time, and explored tactical engineering like a madman. So dont be too hard on yourself, it will come if you put in the time

One of my favorite sayings is... "Misery loves company."
On that cheery note let me tell you, "I suck too."
Been playing this game since the beginning and I can tell you for every brilliantly executed game where I get 10 kills, first place, lots of silver etc.... there are MANY more games where I was one shotted by the latest Meta, deleted by waves of Nether and Angler and generally partake of all the BS this game can deliver ending with a nice last place ZERO kills finish. Drinking out of the proverbial sewer firehouse.
I think you'll find with VERY few exceptions players will exist at around a 50% Win Rate (+ or - 10% or so) over time. Does not matter if your are running a LEO or an Angler.
In the end have fun. Experiment with your bots and weapons. As POOPFACE and MUNKEEEEE say...study the game, watch some You Tube videos, spend or don't spend to your hearts content. Just have fun.

The hangars you're seeing here are often the result of several years of playing and learning. Some are focused on countering the meta, while many are just the bot sets that people have grown to love. You'll see people doing reasonably well with what seem to be obsolete hangars because they have a comprehensive understanding of the relevant capacities and limitations of the bots they're in. Self-limiting, skills-based players can have a lot of fun without ever looking at a statistic (or even winning a match).
All I can suggest is that you choose your bots based on how potent (or safe) it makes you feel. Find the things it does well, and the things it doesn't, then work on the weaknesses. Learn from your own mistakes and curb your instincts. If you force yourself to play defensively for a while, watching the whole map the whole time, you'll start to see patterns, with big gaps in them. I like to put myself in those gaps.
edit - Just on resources, I've never been great at saving them up, but if you can restrict yourself to only spending them when the 'sales' are on, you'll find them adding up much quicker.

Learn from your own mistakes and curb your instincts. I think Gus is sagely saying this:

sambutterfinger1269 - You can't spend your way to greatness. -or- You can't spend your way out of suckiness. Word. Edit: You can spend your way to meta gear, BUT, you have to get the gear early before it is nerfed or "fixed", and that is VERY expensive. Around $1000/month. Especially lately.

Good for you running that thing!! I secretly keep hoping that they will either do a v2 of the classic bots or creates a “modern” package for them that we can buy/win to help bring them into the modern game. I know they are doing an Ultimate version of the Spectre…but who knows how many more? Miss running Leo.

One of the things I do to earn sliver is the leader board's. It may be tempting to go for the weapon component, but I aim for the sliver which is sometimes 10-15 million. A think a earned about 60+ mill in the last 2 months
