I seem to be encountering what might be a bug in the past week or so. Every so often, my pinata gep seems to do 0 damage. I can be 150m from an unshielded target, crosshairs directly on it, unload my pinatas, and target registers 0 damage. I don't think it's a delay thing, because if I come back to the same target after reloading, the damage is still what it was before my first shot. Has anyone else had this happen with pinatas? I feel like I may have seen it with my CRV-pins also. It's very annoying.

The pinatas and Orkans have a quite low splash damage radius, so This will happen if you are shooting slightly off to the side of your enemy , or your enemy is 200 or so metres away and backing away from you in a bot that moves over 50km/h, or will not register full damage if they are 250+ metres away even in a bot that goes over 35km/h. Otherwise I have not noticed any 'no damage' as such, the only weapon that I have clearly seen do no damage for absolutelyy no reason is the Zeus.

Could be lag
Try getting to point blank and see if it works

On the note of rockets and lag, there have been many times where I just take random damage (well it's not random, I know who shot me), but the rocket particles didn't load, so I couldn't jump/run out of the way. I'm not complaining, because on every situation I expected to get blasted, but it'd be nice for forewarning's sake to have at least something that tells me I'm about to die and not to go run at an rdb rhino.

The closer the better. A Gep can dodge Pinatas and Aphids. If you listen for the Pinata firing, and react quick enough, if theres nothing for the rockets to hit and splash on, you just move out of the way.
This is way I so rarely pilot Aphid or Pinata Geps. Mag Geps are usually more effective for me. The Aphid Gep would be my preference over the Pinata Gep when I do actually use them. If I get bored I will do all 3, with 2 Mag Geps.

Always lead your target too!

Yes, this has happened to me many a times--but that's mostly due to my horrendous aim!

If you're aim is iffy, adjust your sensitivity! Using a Cossack I have to keep my head spinning, so I cranked my sensitivity up heaps.

Jeez now it sounds like I only use cossacks

Thanks but I think my iffy aim is innate. :-)

Guess there are just some things the doctor can't fix.
