Would somebody please enlighten me as to all the Abbreviations. RDB etc. The only one I know is AFK (away from keyboard) because somebody mentioned it in another post. Thank you all.

DB means deathbutton from what I read. Not sure what setups mean DB. I'll assume RDB is "Rocket Deathbutton" this means fire and find cover to reload types. Like a Griff with crvs and pinatas. But I'm not very sure at all, I need enlightening too.

DB: death button (orkan/pinata) PDB: plasma DB (taran/magnum) RDB: Russian DB (tulumbas/crv pin)
By and large, these setups are specific to rhino and griffin, but other bots can adapt configurations that try to mimic these.

Ah, thank you. That makes it clearer. These set ups sound quite final. Hang on, I've got one, griffin pdb, it is quite effective.

PS, why Russian death button? I think that name came about because it was mainly Russian players who made the setup popular, and then it gradually spread to anglophone players. Keep in mind that back then that the Griffin was much slower (it started at 19 kph and maxed out at 28 kph) and there were a lot fewer physically shielded bots, so the setup was not as attractive back then. It took a lot of Russian players to convince the rest of the players that the setup was worth using. The fact that Tulumbas is also the name of a real world Russian rocket probably helped the name stick. Also, it's not called the rocket death button because there is another death button setup involving rockets: the Orkan Pinata, which is usually referred to as the DB. The DB was around for longer and was particularly popular with anglophone players even before shielded bots were in the game, and is quite likely the first bot setup to ever get the Death Button title.

Wow, thank you for all that information. Now it's all making sense. This world is definitely opening up to me and I'm loving it. Thanks again.
