Just watched the latest Russian video.
Amongst other things, he mentioned that next Year, Gameroom will be shut down, but your game progress will be transferred to another platform.
Hopefully I don't have to back to a small screen *shudder*

I am hoping this will be the impetus Pixo needs to proceed with phase 3 of cross-platforming: account mirroring for mobile-to-PC and vice-versa.

Not a result of Pixonic, Facebook is shutting down the Gameroom client.
Most likely Pixonic will transfer to Steam since on the same server.

If this ever actually happens, it'd be an absolute joy to play occasionally on a phone and then properly on a rig with pimped out graphics with the same account. It would be free for them to do it too, they already have the fancy textures from the failed Steam rollout.

I'd be really interested in how they were planning to move the accounts over. I have a Gameroom account that I bascially don't play anymore, but I wouldn't want the "progress" if it meant adding the 4th and 5th hanger slots on my Gameroom account to the account I'm currently active on.

Wow, i didnt see this one coming. Obviously there is more to the health of the game than player numbers but i wonder what lead to this decision. Is steam next?

Pixo refuses to transfer accounts between platforms, because you'll have to buy all things again if you start over. They never let customer relations get in the way of profit.

Yeah, it's probably wishful thinking. I can't see too many people actually bothering to start again from scratch at this point though.

Max Fomichev, Pixo producer, mentionned it was in the cards for the future.
