Not a rant just an objective observation. Not only can you look dead at it and not target it, it must get some sort of multiplier fior damage. I was just smoked by one right after launching my Arthur. 1,000,000+ HP shield gone in FIVE SHOTS and about 3 seconds. I know for a fact no one else shot me, far end of valley and it was just us. Look up the stats on the French weapons. No way even at max level they are near 200k per shot combined.
I’m sure they will fix this glitch about the time the new super OP AM replacement is released.
They have slightly less integrity than a used car salesman.

It probably had the "additional damage" upgraded and 3x Antimatter reactors. 3x antimatter reactors alone increase damage by 81%. Damage boosters another 5%......
Edit: I dont think they can release another titan which will overshadow the current ming by a wide margin becasue that thing would be game breakingly OP. They will nerf the Ming.

But the Mings guns can not only shoot down on me but completely bypass the shield.

One or two hugely OP items encountered every now and then wont break the game. When they are multiples of them constantly than there is an issue.

Yeah, I played a game last night where the entire team launched Ao Juns first bot out, giving out enough damage to ALL run the Mings up the flagpole 2nd bot out. It was a bloodbath, lol. One of the biggest problems is not so much the OP nature of the bot itself, after all, it's easy to see, and easy to hit (catches a lot of bullets). Has similar HP to other Titans with no shield. However, the air superiority factor is huge, it makes some cover useless, it can hover basically out of bounds, and has visibility of pretty much every single red.

It was game breaking the second day of its release when we started to see maxed out ones. I think Pix underestimated (to their delight) how many people would buy this bot and all its trimmings so they decided it needed antimatter reactors as well to keep the cash cow pumping out the milk.

Starting to because TDM is about there in terms of being broken. Dont play much dom so cant comment. In BR they are well on their way but at least beacons reduce their effectiveness. The cheaper platinum allowed many dolphins to join the ming party and hence the proliferation IMO. I am seeing more of the approach mentioned by AVC. People run up bots like juns to enable them to launch mings. The need for the small bots is being driven towards being titan launchers. irrelevance of small bots cant be good for Pixonics revenue either if they are mostly ignored.

The bloodbaths I like to take are the ones where the reds spawn their phantoms and leeches, cap all the beacons, and then kill us all. Not a titan in sight.

Ao Jun had a glitch on Android when 1st released that allowed the flame alone to do like 200k dps. One tick from the built in Ember would one shot bots. I would see them fly by multiple bots one-shooting them with the Ember. I watched one one shot 3 bots in a row and take my over 200k Leo to a sliver of HP with one tick of the flamer. It was always a maxed Ao Jun in a squad. Maybe some bug early on with the bot and combination of stacking boosters or a hack. The big Ao Jun may have the same bug/feature.

My Arthur is level 59. There is no way it should die in under ten seconds to any single bot. Pix has outdone themselves. On top of that, the Ming can use cover almost as well as my Arthur with its guns on top.
I can’t count the times a good game is ruined as soon as the mings fly. It’s the worst thing to ever happen to this game.

A Rayker can take a $3k bot down to 12.5% damage half of its existence
Pulsars and even shredders at 500M can lock it down in a split second, doing it over and over for half of its existence
Just saying, there are numerous ways to make a joke out them

Last night we had some good games vs some deep pockets clan players (4 of us v 3 of them + decent randos all around). In each one, we gradually beat down the beacon bar, getting close to victory until the Maxed AMs come out to ruin the fun. At least they waited until the end to I seriously don’t understand the enjoyment whales any players get from playing it. Hollow victories at best.

I can’t get a grasp of it either ... happens all the time. When I have one on my side, I actually feel guilty they outplayed us only for one deep pocket to take over.

I don't know if it is intentional, but there is definitely a fault with the targeting. I'd guess that it is virtually impossible to manually target a Ming if there is anything else within about a 5 degree arc of it. I half tested this on Carrier while reloading in cover, ten clicks of the button and it didn't target the Ming once. There was another bot directly under it and it was as if the Ming didn't exist, secret stealth, great.
Multiple Avengers work quite well if you can get close, but if you lose concentration for a second on the way there, those Dragoons turn into 600m Death Button weapons on normal bots.
Still, it's very, very funny when they have to land and hide when you catch them with their pants down!

People love those dookie bots. Todays AM was yesterdays Ao Jun. People thought same thing about how much the Ao Jun ruined the game because there were so many of them. Now its the AM. Nothing new to see here, please move along...

Problem is you take aim 50° up in the sky and it's easy to miss the bots on the ground that are closing in or the other 2-3 Mings that are flanking every corner of the map.

Fixing the bug that allows the French weapons to hit you at 620m when their advertised range is 600 would be a good start.

Fixing the bug that allows the French weapons to hit you at 620m when their advertised range is 600 would be a good start. it's almost like they have a mini splash radius, when most of your bot is behind cover they still manage to hit you even though your hitbox is not exposed. Don't drop the soap.... man I hate exposing my hitbox.

Iâve never had problems with Mings but then again Iâm in expert one. Not exactly a playground for tankers as we do have a few players that are able to kick serious 「bum-bum」
