After winning noden a few days ago, I am excited to play again. Donâ??t get me wrong, I enjoy this game even w all of the balance issues that come along with it. In fact uninstalled for a year or so after the ST Spectre phase, but reinstalled around new year. I have been playing and engaged, but at a limited level...maybe 5 or 6 matches a day. Since getting (and leveling the crap out of) noodles, I am having a blast , to the point of increasing to 25 matches a day. I am taking breaks from work and squeezing a game or two in where ever possible.
I never took advantage of the titan thing initially. I had just the kid, leveled it a tiny bit and the weapons only a tiny bit also. I had a chronic case of titan indecision. I have no interest in AM. I know how game changing it is, but to me it is just a glorified sniper (albeit w only 600m range). Fine for some...it completely kicks ?bum-bum? at what it does, but it Isnâ??t my play style...never did invest much in anything beyond mid range. Was really tempted by Arthur...I love tanks and this is THE tank titan, but had titan paralysis...afraid I would invest and something much better would come along. Well I am glad I hoarded PT. I won noodles.
Noodles is FUN!!! I read it another post and wish I could give credit to whoever pointed it out. This is the ULTIMATE multitask bot. You have 3!heal charges, plus suppression, plus actually fighting to manage and the pace is frenetic. Once you get into the rhythm of it....awesome. I am still in the learning curve but it has gone from just scanning around and dealing with managing abilities as they come up to watching the contested beacons and making sure I spam heals, suppress the reds pushing it and unleashing the nice firepower of 4â??beta titan weapons (only leveled to about 20 because I am waiting for tazers).
I play mostly random matches so it is not always as smooth as it could be, but pairing up with an Arthur is VERY effective. Whenever possible I fall in behind one, let him block for me and just heal him, suppress the threats and add some additional damage. It is great what this duo can do.
Bottom line...highly recommended titan from my standpoint. They mustâ??ve fixed the issue of not getting honor points for healing with noodles because I went from being #1 on my team about 25% of time to closer to 50%. Get yourself a nice bowl of noodles! If I can now get my hands on a 4 pack of cyclones I would be ecstatic
