How would you rank the Silver Medium bots?
Me:
Vityaz: Currently the worst in my eyes. Used to be the Golem till they buffed it's speed to match the Vityaz and now it's firepower is more useful then the Vityaz's nominally higher toughness. Still a great starter bot for bronze when equipped correctly.
G.I. Patton. Yeah, it packs a punch, and can be effective at any range, but waaaay to slow and fragile for me
Golem: Very well rounded as both a midrange support or as a knife fighter.
Boa: Great Toughness and speed and packs a punch at close range. Clearly the strongest Medium Ag bot, though it lacks ability as a mid-range bot.

Vityaz: Potentially more aggressive than a magnum gepard, it have 2 lights but an heavy, right equipped can make good difference on same distance of MagnumGepard
Best Vit Setup: -Thunder+Pinata/Pinata (300m) -Thunder+Magnum/Magnum (350) -Zeus+Pin/Pin (500m) -Zeus+Gekko/Gekko (600m)
Golem: Best DPs on Mediums, but low health, it need to be piloted as well, fovuring cornershots and make distances you best weapon, it can ruins enemy squad or defend a beacon in every case, suited for any combat Best Golem Setup: -Thunder+Orkan+Pinata (300m) -Zeus+Taran+Magnum (350m) -Thunder+Taran+Ecu (350m) -Trident+Tulumbas+Pin (500)
Gl. Patton: Insane 4x Lights concept, low health and base speed due on best weapon combination for a light weapon, 4x same light weps means you can consider this patton the first specialist of the game, when good piloted it can hit harder than any other bot from any distance, but first time shooting at you, sometimes is your death. Best Patton Setup: -Pinata/Pinata/Pinata/Pinata (300m) -Magnum/Magnum/Magnum/Magnum (350m) -Magnum/Magnum/Aphid/Aphid (350m) -Aphid/Aphid/Aphid/Aphid (350m) -Pin/Pin/Pin/Pin (500m) -Gekko/Gekko/Gekko/Gekko (1000m)
Boa: Higher health on mediums (92.000 for low silver tier is very high), and nice potentially dps for short ranges, in my opinion the best way to use a medium, great knife fighter, and melee fighter, it can make multykills and take much more damages than other mediums without great problems Best Boa Setup: -Thunder+Orkan (300m) -Thunder+Taran (350) -Ancile+Ecu
Rogatka: Yeah it's wonderful, but not enough, i have 2 rogs, but i prefer moving the 2 medium weapons on other bots (as golems, boas or griffins) in order to maximize their damages, it lacks of health, when he jumps focus attention on it, attracting snipers, rdb, and gekkos, good speed movement, but you need to focus on defending rog's health before think about deal damages, but for sure, it could remove enemies health bar in few seconds. need experience to use it as well Best Rog setup: -Orkan+Orkan (300m) -Orkan+Taran (300m) -Taran+Taran (350m) -Tulumbass+Tulumbass (500m)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hope i can help someone with this scheme
SirKenzoY2J" source=
Snipped for length... For clarity, you rate the Patton higher than the Golem? I will also say that every setup where you have used gekkos, I have used molots with great success. I had gekkos in my old account and was never impressed by them. Aphid/Mag Patton I have not tried yet. May be worth a go.

This is highly debatable. It really comes down to how you wish to use it, and in what tier you are using it.
In low/mid silver, they all have their uses, but I find the Boa & Vityaz to be excellent brawlers here. I wasnt a fan of the Vit because I thought it was too weak, but Thunder/mags is incredible firepower for this bot, and it's tougher than you think. Lives way longer than a TOP Golem and seems to do more good on the battlefield. Vityaz has little to no use in gold tier though, since it's not THAT tough not does it have huge burst potential.
Patton seems least useful to me in silver, as it's too slow to cap and too fragile to brawl BUT become useful again in gold with the quad aphids (from what I've seen). It seems that if you spend much time in the Patton in silver, your probably gonna lose this match.
Golem is fun and deadly. With 1 of each hardpoint, there are tons of cool setups you can use. Between TOP (Thunder/Orkan/Pinata), TTM (Thunder/Taran/Magnum) & TTP (Trident/Tulu/Pin) I like TTP because it's a ton of mid-range hurt you are dealing out and if you can keep your distance, you can live just long thought to do some good, even in low gold. I find that if you pilot TOP golem correctly, it's like a Pinata Patton on steroids and deals insane damage. If you don't kill it, though, you will die. TTM, in my eyes seems great but just can't live long enough to really take advantage of all those guns.
Boa is just a stalwart of a good silver hangar, and has the ability to move up higher tiers due to its massive durability and decent firepower. The best medium overall.

Boa>Golem>Vityaz in my gamestyle, Boa rapresent the best choice overall. Patton in silver tier is an absolute specialist for my opinion, and it doesn't allow to brawl any fight, i'm thinking about Pin Patton, or Spiral Patton (all lv9 weapons) as an anti-seal clubber bot, but it have no other use imo. Rogatka is the opposite concept as patton, good brawler but everything shoots you when you are shooting; in One on One combat only Boas and few Golems can stop it, but a 500m Patton can shot it drinking a cup of coffee. All mediums lineups are nemesis for another, so there aren't any real gap between any mediums in silver tier, you can use all lineups if you can pilot it as well

Rog is not an Ag bot, Kenzo...

Vityaz unlocks early at level 4 (Golem 5, Patton 6, Boa 8). This an important factor for new players. Also, Thunders unlock at level 10. So is Patton really the first effective medium? Piñata unlock at 7, so you have a gun-ho piñata Patton at just level 7, but starting at 6 with punishers is an idea.

Rog is not an Ag bot, Kenzo... i know, but i've included in my opinion because it belongs on same tier as AG bots, so it rappresents a point to mention; i have no mentioned any wsp medium bot, they're different calculated in MM mechanics

I also agree Boa best Ag med bot. All great reasons listed above. One more I would add is speed of Boa's turntable among fastest in the game. Weapons redirect as fast as you can scroll - which is helpful when multiple reds getting in your face. No specific measurement for it but just feels that way IMO.

Close range: boa>Patton>golem>vityaz
Med range: Patton>vityaz>golem>Boa
Long range: Patton>vityaz>golem>boa
Too lazy to mention setups, but I'm sure you can figure it out.

Personal preference of worst to best:
Vityaz, Golem, Patton, Boa
But realistically...
Punisher/molot/kwk anything < Tulu-tri Boa, Tulu-CRV-Tri Golem < Tri-CRV Vityaz < Taran Thunder Boa < Quad Pinata Patton < Pinata-Thunder Vityaz < Mag-Thunder Vityaz < Quad Mag Patton < Quad CRV Patton < Plasma Golem < Pinata-Ork-Thunder Golem < Ork Thunder Boa < Aphid Patton.

Imo Piñata-Thunder vit< quad Piñata Patton < Taran Thunder boa Depends on playstyle and levels. I'm a wierdo and keep bot levels = weapon levels and I usually avoid playing Boa without an Orkan. I always outperform my taran boa with 6/6/6/6/6 Pinata Patton lol

I've even running a 4/6 Aphid Patton and 4/6 CRV Pin Patton and gotta say, it's very versatile when played right. Gotta learn to skirt the right cover to a semi middle map launch point. Can accomplish more early game with them than my Boa, I love my Boa mid game or last bot. To either Force clear a beacon or to outlast if it comes to death match conditions.

Is nobody going to mention Kenzo's last recommended boa setup Boa with Ecu and Ancile? Yeah what a joke, but he have a huge Health with huge defences, you make 0 damages with this bot, but if you are good player you know how to make damages with only 3-4 brawlers, making a 5th slot bot a pure capper bot. he works, i tested and never forget it, obviously it's not my best hangar bot
