Hi all,
I've won the Nemesis bot in the Winter Event, it doesnt suit my playstyle at all (I could adjust, but I dont want to..)
it gives 6,8mil Ag ..
I could use that money to level up other bots that are indeed my playstyle ..
As I understand the Nemesis is fairly new to the game, however the Absorber - Impenetrable shield last for waaaay to short (2 seconds) then it fires the built in rockets..
should I keep it or get rid of it.. ?
any advice on the Nemesis?

i run coronas and shieldbreaker on my nemesis and mostly brawl with it you can use the nemesis pilot to extend the shield time it is a decent bot and can be deadly if played right

Nem is a good bot once a player understands it....just keep it for awhile. I regret selling many bots that now I would try again........

You answered your own question in the first sentence. I always sell stuff I don’t like so I can upgrade the stuff I really like.

Yeah this is a personal question... I am a collector and want at least one of everything.
However, many peeps are very minimalist and only have what they want/need. Everything else they get goes towards upgrading or getting what they want/need.
Nemesis can be a good bot... but yes it takes a certain style to enjoy it. The Legendary Pilot helps, along with the proper skills. It is the only Pantheon bot that does not lose its speed when it uses the shield, as well. It's not really META, but it's not too far removed. I do know that at levels 9 and up with one of the Road Hog skills can make it a pretty nimble beast... but it's more of a skill bot than Ares and maybe even Hades, so it isn't a jump in and dominate bot. Plenty of folk do well with it, but there are enough good options now that if you are not in Champions League, you can probably stick to your most enjoyable bots and still do well in most games.
All that said... Only you can really answer the question of whether it would be good for you to keep and develop it, shelve it, or just sell it.
IMO, YMMV

Shouldn't take you more than a week of casual playing to earn 6M silver... I only ever sold duplicates so it's up to you if you want to have a "museum" one day.

I have sold 2 leech, an ao jun and an ares (back when it first came out) but yet I have no meta bots, why you ask? Because I loath their playstyle, play bots you have fun in and then no matter what pix does they can't take away your fun. If you don't like it, sell it, if you feel playing it would be fun, try it and then yet again, if you don't like it, sell it.

Buffs and nerfs happen and it's good to remember that. I've seen a ton of posts here where people say they wish they hadn't sold something off. Also as you change bots/weapon combos in your hangar, you can hit problems that can make you start dusting off older bots. That happens to me usually with the beacon defender role, because I don't like tanks, so when the defender I'm using stops working for me, say maybe because I moved some weapons onto another bot, etc, I am glad I still have my old ones to experiment with. Nemesis has only 2 weapon slots which makes it easier to equip, so that could come in handy somewhere down the road.
All that said, you do you. People obviously have different strategies on this. I'd caution you more strongly about selling off levelled weapons than bots though.

I say keep it. If you get a duplicate then sell it.
I like to play with all the toys. Play it for a month and try various load outs. Upgrade it to around L8 and see if you like it. It sometimes takes a while for a bot to grow on you.
Playing different styles helps with variety and helps to keep things fresh. Makes you employ different tactics which will also make you better at playing the game.
Last note. I read lots of posts regarding the selling a bot or weapon regret. How well to you handle regret?

its a great Bot, you really don't need the LG pilot to run it. i still use the Reg pilot since i've gotten used too it and those extra Seconds you get from the LG pilot could make you sloppy.

This ^^^ I will run a Legacy hanger every other season and change out bots/weapons trying different load outs but keeping the old school theme. Having more than one of each comes in handy for this style. I can try all of the weapon family on one bot with the Golem, then pick and choose what I like. If you don’t enjoy it, what’s the point.

( Side-note: Nemesis can be a good support bot, able to quickly put up a shield around allies to defend them. The shield recharges very fast.
But it's weak against Shield Breaker, only has 2 Medium weapons + Retribution, and is not a top meta bot. ) Does anyone use shield breaker against Nemesis? The shield duration is so short, I have assumed nobody bothers. As to the question of the OP, I am in the camp of never selling all of any particular kind of a bot or a weapon, nor ever selling anything which is significantly upgraded. A few days of playing worth of Ag for a got which costs 10x as much and takes up WS for a month? Nah, not worth the risk of wanting to have it later. You don't know what happens (buffs and nerfs, new pilot skills, new weapons, new modules...). But that's just me (and many others) who think this way, YMMV.

The shield duration is so short, I have assumed nobody bothers. Where I'm at (in the iOS Champion League games I've been playing) I often see the Retribution bots being damaged and killed with their shield still up. I recently tried to single out and brawl a Nemesis and I was quickly joined by my random blue team, which killed it off while it's annoying shield was still up. The Nemesis's shield can be so annoying... ...then they have a lot of armor underneath it too. All the Shield Breakers on my random teams is something I'm thankful for. Also, the Reds consistently Phase Shift during battle, and Double Phase Shift is common. I explicitly *try* to stop Leeches from Double Repulsing if I can.

Keep at very least one of every bot in storage.
You never know who will be buffed.
