Given the state of play in general I haven’t been the most active player / community participant of late, it just read a post from Pixo that apparently they have upgraded titans in response to people’s complaints that they were too weak....
who the hell was complaining about that??
sure, the free junk they give us all is not going to stand up to an army of mk2 level 12 phase shifting leech, but when a $500[?] before upgrade fully loaded Ao Ming is blowing bots away from 600 metres with 4 weapons that seem to hit much harder than redeemers, I think those complaints were pretty damn stupid.
seriously??

At least the Kid can do damage to Leeches now. Release Titans were kinda garbage, but yeah, the P2W Titan+weapons is always gonna be ridiculous. I'd rather face Ao Mings than Leeches though...

Pix tells whatever story that fits their narrative. It doesn't have to have anything to do with reality.
But, if we want to make an educated guess, it's their Pt sales figures which said, Titans are too weak. So basically every spending player, who spent on other stuff instead of Pt sent the message, that Pt was not worth paying for. And... I think most spenders here would agree?

Titans were not weak. Their regular bots are too OP, but I guess they are too imbecils to add 2 + 2. This is what happens when you only build metas around agile damage dealers and you think giant slow bags of metal has any chance.
They released their Titans in the worst meta possible. Titans would laugh off a pre nerf Orkan Spectres’s burst, Haechi, Bulg would die easily too. But Leech, Ao Jun, Ares? Invincibility, long ability, and high sustained damage meta? No chance. They chewed Titans one after the other.
Pix should have created the meta around burst damage before releasing Titans or nerf the current meta instead of buffing Titans

Give me a break they released them weak so they could acclimate the players to them. They didn't want a mass exodus doing it this way mitigates it some for them.
Like the old frog in boiling water analogy. Place a frog in boiling water it jumps out, place it in normal water and raise the temp slowly it will stay there until cooked.
Unless you are new you knew darn well these were going to be a OP money pit as soon as they announced a NEW currency that you can only acquire rapidly with RM.
Whales wont drop tons of money without it being OP.
