Well, enough people were upset that PIXONIC actually did something. Instead of getting Arthur when I expected a Leech, I received the Leech today as well. I was happy with either one, but now I'm ecstatic! I almost feel bad to sell the Leech for Silver. I'm really enjoying my Arthur though. I wonder if chronic09 is happy? BTW: I don't think I'll sell it. I won't run more than one, but I won't sell it like I had planned. I've actually ground a fair amount of Ag so far during the event.

Just a little stunned. A good community relations move by Pix, who’da thunk it? Congrats, I look forward to killing both of your new toys if we meet on opposite sides of a match.

Definitely proves Pixonic is scamming the players.

Pixonic appears to have taken a hint. Lots of blowback from their recent behavior

Actually, I see that as a win win for everyone. Good move on Pix's part, and heck, everyone who was selected a winner got TWO things. Leech is actually pretty fun and challenging to play at lower levels without premium add ons and not as OP as Ares was when it first came out. I actually wouldn't mind running a second one cause I liked it with both Scourges and Storms - two totally different playstyles. As for the Arthur, it's starting to look like the one I'll be spending any platinum I get on - for a variety of reasons but mostly because it's the best Titan to use with the default machine gun weapons so it means I save from having to buy better weapons.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. I run my leech with scourges and without PS and Last Stand. This bot is only OP by spamming PS and a maxed Last Stand with module pilot skills. The Ares was deadly at base level without modules and pilot skills. The leech replaced my taser inquisitor and it’s not that different except it has a bit more firepower and has more speed. I’ve tried tarans and I love the firepower but the close range without ps does not usually end well. sorry about hijacking the thread, congrats to everyone who won both Arthur and a leech! Good luck.

I noticed that yesterday, but I didn't want to seem ungrateful/picky. Just let it slide(my inner voice).

I was so pleased they finally did what I hoped for! THIS is how it's done. TY Pixonic. They could have done without the shady excuse, though, but I'm thankful they generously compensated - there was no miscommunication and it was even advertised as Leech during the Dev Stream, before they arbitrarily decided to change it to an Arthur. I was hoping they'd confirm it would be an Leech AND Arthur giveaway, as that would have been an Ace move during the Dev Stream.
Also, as someone who runs one hanger, I'd strongly advise keeping those Leeches at least until you get 5 (full hangar). Even if you hate them, they're brokenly overpowered and you may want to run 5 if you get into the mood. If you play competitively, they might be the worst thing you can sell. I have stockpiled 5 Leeches (sold my 6th), 4 Thomas Mindreads, 3 Phantoms, 5 Olga Mininas, 4 Fenrirs, 1 Nicolas Wodanson, 1 Ao Jun, 2 Deathwing Ao Juns, 3 Adrian Chongs and 4 Regular Pilots. In an effort to curb addiction, I've sold most of my Legendary Pilots (Level 60 Alika Renner included) and bots and am now concentrating on bringing my Regular Pilots and Adrian Chongs to max level 70, as they are the most likely pilots to keep up with the new meta. Regular pilots let you choose your own desired 1st skill, instead of assigning you their own fixed and unchangeable Legendary skill, and there's usually plenty of good bot/weapon skills to choose from. I also sold my three excess Titan weapons as I'd rather use my upgraded weapons on whichever Titan I chose.
