I have tried since yesterday morning to complete the task for 10 platinum points. Get 3000 honor points for top place in kills or damage. I am a little more than halfway but the total hasnt changed in the past 9 or 10 matches. I sit barely in Champions League and most of my teamates have much better stats. So how can I finish this [illegitimate child] off? I play Domination but would another mode be better? Is there a better time of day? I play on Android in NE USA. This is my hangar.  |

Honestly, it's not worth the agony to think about. Just play normally and eventually you'll get there. Unless you're anxious to level up and use your Titan, I don't really see the point in killing yourself over 10 measly platinum.

Try TDM. In Dom/BR you earn Honor for Top 3 in Damage or Beacons, so only the Damage reward goes towards the task. In TDM, you get Honor for Top 3 Damage or Kills...double the potential Honor Points per match.

TDM is where you can get the most, because it's the only mode that had HP for damage and kills

Honestly don't bother, unless you pay you won't make any significant progress even if you complete every task every day, focus on the rest of your hanger as it's far more important, and you don't have to charge a bar to use it.

Good advice, but I see the daily tasks like a daily crossword, something to complete for the same of it and the challenge. A long range goal is to buy the Ao Ming. I like bots that can fly, glide etc. But I'm not going to grind, just play as you said. |

There is almost always one of the two or three "tasks" that I can not compete myself. Tends to be the ones where you need to be "top" kills or damage or something and that is not easy in Champions League so I feel your pain. Just play for fun and do not worry about that task, in doing so you may end up getting it anyway and be surprised.

I gave up on daily tasks about a month ago. I still play a lot but stopped worrying about the damn tasks.
It'd be 11:30pm about to fall asleep and I'd open the game to check upgrades, supply drops or whatever. Then I'd see that I was just barely short of getting a task complete. So I found myself regularly, playing the game, half asleep, trying to get 20 ?fluffernutter?ing gold. Realized how crazy it was and now I say ?fluffernutter? the tasks. If they get finished then great, if not, well I'll live.

Tends to be the ones where you need to be "top" kills or damage or something and that is not easy in Champions League so I feel your pain. Just play for fun and do not worry about that task, in doing so you may end up getting it anyway and be surprised. Those are easily done in FFA. Wait till it's up again. In FFA, 3rd place counts as top, and it's quite easy to obtain (since there's usually at least 1 tanker, then only 4-5 players really left) |
