Lv 3-4 Rime is equivalent to lv9 Pinata... ã??whiskey tango foxtrotã? Rime is gonna get nerfed (when it hits WS). You heard it here. no, pinitas just suck major ?bum-bum?. they just have never been good enough to be used to any effect, rimes are only a bit over the line or perfectly balanced, pinitas need a buff. I’ve found them exceedingly effective when leveled and placed on a stalker, them silver one boys never knew what hit ‘em

I just had a fun match on Rome map (Dom). Dropped my Strider got the close bacon, went for the side bacon in amongst the buildings. There was a Griffin coming through the buildings so I knew he would jump over so I went around the back. He jumped and spent his load so I dashed around and killed him with 4 shots and took the bacon. Next victims were a Rog and an Aries. I played hide and seek for a minute until I could get the Rog 1 on 1 and dispensed him.The Purple princes got distracted with another blue for a second so I ran inside his shield and left him in tatters. By this time the blues had 4 bacon and we were rapidly running down the bacon timer. Can't remember what happened then I think I took out an Ao Jun with Strider but by that time they were dropping Titans and I was low on health so dropped my low level Kid took out 2 Titans with it, a Leo and their home bacon and that was the end of the game. Wish I had a video it was fun.

Was gonna ask if investing in my lvl 8 Strider is worth it, but I’m guessing e etyone is gonna scream HELL YES! DO IT!!!!!!! It's so much about general quickness when running a Strider so I'd think it should be worth it alone for the maximum ground speed. it may be only one km/h more to get to the final speed ... but still, I would not want to miss it. Besides that small gain of 6000 HP (or so) which also adds up after all.

Plus that extra kmph is, as you said, very much worth it because you want ALL the speed you can get.

Wish I had a video it was fun. nice! I still remember my game recently where I was using my goon strider and killed about 8 people while holding the attention of 2 ao mings (1 maxed and 1 not maxed) before the end of the match. Was tons of stolen kills however I only really steal kills that are escaping to cover. I didn't use any other bots that round so it was just a load of dashing and smokin' goons. Strider is way to much fun, should be a sin to have this much entertainment from one bot... Anyway, I hope you have many more games like this friend!

If you are a Strider Ninja, it is possible that due to complications during CMS, you are unaware the true source of your spastic Strider abilities comes from SuckerPunch downloading techniques and tactical abilities from the Foundation. ?

Found my fun build for strider, I use it on arthurs and kids only because thats the whole list of what it works against for the most part (although it works on mings as well). I even got a titan slayer in one of my matches while the weapons were still base level!
I used zenit noricum, oh it was a sin to run but DAMN it felt good to get back to hugging people! Oh how strider looks like a dog humping the titans leg and it was very funny to uppercut them with the noris and zenit. I may use this more often (although by no means will it be used in more than 1/100 of my games).

Just won a rime in a gold chest and I went to see how a pair of them and a glory works, and they are killer! Played a few games and none of them I got below 1.5 mil, stayed in strider almost the whole time in 4 of them as well. I just love playing this bot.

Picked up 12 once, almost never drop below 7 when I use it the whole time. I don't even try to kill steal, ots just how the bot and setup plays.

Been running an Ember/Rime set up recently. The freeze/fire weapons really compliment each other. The splash is a nice added bonus. Doing well in low to mid champs.

Would you recommend this for me (I want more builds to play with other than my goon build) or would you say glacier would make it more fun?

Very solid build, but not as good as it once was because of the lockdown change. I like the Rimes better because of the splash and the damage increase mechanism. Very fun to make meta bots chase you around obstacles while splashing/slowing them to death.

Well, my Halo / Glory Strider has done it's dash. It was a very fun build while it lasted, and I even MK2'd a Glory for it. i won the dragon dragoon from the event and have two marquess in store, is the dragoon marquess build any good ? if so what is the best way to play it ? OH MY GOD YES IT IS VERY GOOD! I have used it and have found several ways to use it. First off I use striders mobility to stay at 500-600m while easily getting into line of sight so I can pelt people (usually on those low health so I can finish them off, which is easy since I have either way more speed or way more range then any one else so I can get kills nobody else can get). Other than just basic play you have a few ways to kill players that will make you take little-no damage. For instance if you see a scourge, zeus or hydra family you simply step into their range and fire but just before you have been there for 3 seconds dash out of their range. This will break their lock which means they never can hurt you. On most titans you will see machine guns or rockets so you can easily stay just out of their range and pelt them, back pedaling as needed. This pertains to most other builds that you will see on the battlefield. Finally, you can easily kill leeches, ao juns and even ares because they have low health and are slower than you in normal mode. So basically watch for when one of the listed bots activates their ability and wait it out by staying off to the side and a good ways away then as soon as it runs out pelt them. Usually takes chunks off or kills them! If you want some other pointers I have plenty more but thats it for now, happy hunting! It seems my 2.12 Fluxes deal almost identical damage to Level 9 Dragoons - burst and all, and 2.12 Gekkos deal almost identical damage to Level 8 Marquesses too, if I want to try this setup. They might be a lot more obvious with the massive beams of light, though... Hmm. Is a Flux/Gekko setup with the equivalent damage of a Level 9 Dragoon and Level 6-8 Marquesses (depending on which MK2 Gekko colours I chose) sufficient?

I would recommend focusing upon damage increasing skills since you won't take really any damage past 500m, also focus on the leeches and ao juns (Quantum Radar) since their lowish health will make the burst of your lasers much more important.

Question for any/all strider pilots. How are do you feel about the new camera movement after the 5.8 release? Also did strider always have a “bounce” at the end of a dash?
I’m not a fan of the change and maybe i didn’t notice the bounce before but it feels like it creates a hitch in movement after a dash now that slows me down.

Re Camera Angle: Hasn't affected me much, it helps a little navigating corners but line of sight for distance is a bit worse. Re Bounce: That's always been there, it has to do with elevation changes during the dash. As you play them more you'll learn the right spots to dash and when to just run through the elevations. Often you can time a double dash down a slope to hit the end of the dash when you connect with the ground to mitigate the pause/bounce.
