Confusion! Why keep dashes under five? And... how can I go faster?? Thanks! Thanks! I was all... OMG, so stupid! ... cuz Scooter still had plenty of health left. That was before I tossed his boney arsed chicken legs out into the open. EDIT: Strider Tactics 101 ... Always have *escape* dashes! yeah, another little tip, try to keep your dashes under 5 at all times, that way you waste no time that your dashes could be recharging since you can instead just use the dash to go a wee bit faster. Your tip is so true though! I prefer to keep 3 on me for a safety measure.

Your tip is so true though! I prefer to keep 3 on me for a safety measure. because when your dashes are at 5 you aren't recharging any which means that time is wasted for your dashes, if you are at 5 dashes for 10secs of a match you have just lost a dash that you could have used, and that time can add up if you aren't careful. It is kinda hard to explain, I guess if you think about it like this it will make it a bit better, you have 5 dashes at the start of a match and with the recharge you can get a max total of 65 dashes in a match, but for that you need to be recharging them the ENTIRE time. So if you sit around at max dash capacity for about 10 sec in a match you lost a dash, so with every 10sec you are at full capacity you lose a dash since you aren't recharging any, so using your dashes so you stay below 5 at all times is key. I hope everyone understands what I am saying

nice! Do you have any plans for what weapons you wanna put on him at a later date? I recommend exo or glory with halos if you really like brawling, flames and goons work well also, the normal shot guns are good but in all it is better to get stronger stuff, especially since strider is totally worth it!

Something I’ve been doing lately on Shenzhen is hitting all 5 dashes to the parking lot side beac at start of match IF I spawn on that side. I usually cap it with a dust up, then go into the corner and recharge 4 dashes while I chill and observe how the reds are moving. More times than not I can then get to their spawn working the angles and taking some pot shots. Even if I get fragged back there - I’m usually occupying 3 reds so that’s opening up the map for my team to do their thing. Strider is the perfect bot to set up shop back there and play some chess with whoever wants to challenge you.

I think I get what you're saying! So... while I'm trotting around... use a dash now and then ... otherwise I'm kinda wasting the dashes ... all the possible dashes... that are there for me to use for the game. Like, don't just sit on em?? Confusion! Why keep dashes under five? And... how can I go faster?? Great idea! I'm going to try that one!
If the planets align just right... on that same map... the reds will all split left and right. This leaves the center and their spawn beacons open. I can get across to center beacon, turn it, get to their spawn beacon, turn or half turn it... and then all or most of the reds are headed back at me. lol Of course, then I hide ... get toasted... but by this time my team (if they're paying attention) has already gotten both side beacons and we're up 4-1 or at least 3-1. It doesn't happen often but it's hella satisfying when it does!

You only get the full 65 dashes if you are recharging them the entire time, I hope everyone takes note of this so we can all become better strider players! Also with that skill that recharges one dash when you reach 50% health (terrible skill BTW) I guess the total could come to 66, but that is just a single extra so practically useless.

It's good practical advise! Dashes are an (almost) unlimited resource so there's no reason not to use them when we can... and ... Scooter's not exactly the fastest trotter out there. lol I think I get what you're saying! Just a random announcement, my Strider that dates back to OE made it to mk2 level 12 today, relearning those tricky super glides! End of transmission. Wow, right about the same time mine came out of ye ol’ Mk2 shoppe. It was only out for a couple weeks, but I’m very glad to have it back in the lineup. I am seriously considering sending that Exodus in for Mk2 treatment next.

Guys I know, in this 22 pages probably all setups were discussed but help me with this. To those who possibly used both builds, which is is better Halo Redeemer or Halo Glory ? Im rocking Halo Redeemer atm and like it a lot but would need that Redeemer for the Deathwing. Have 2 options, level a Glory in place of the Redeemer or go with a Avenger Deathwing instead of a Reedemer one. Regardless of strider, you gotta go Avenger DW. It just looks too freakin cool (Exos also look pretty wicked as well). If you are rocking it w Redeemer, stick with that while you level a glory. I think the Glory Halo combo will be even better.

Yeah, in a year or 2 when I get those new weapons. And level them so they are useful

Are Gusts still worth building in the WS? I've got one. I heard conflicting feedback on them so I've not bothered to build a second one.

That said, I have 2 Mk2 gusts on my Strider. I already have 4 halos on my Blitz and I don’t want to invest too much in any single weapon. Also, my pilot got Gust Sharpshooter which is not on my preferred list of skills, but good enough that I don’t want to spend gold to change it.

Exo is cooking to lvl 12... After many moons of upgrade time, well over 1B in silver, 12k in gold, and infinite patience, my journey to the ultimate SuckerPunch is almost complete.

Rollo Tomasi yeah, 2 Heavy Armor Kit, I only own 3 premium modules (Thermonuclear Reactor the other) that I usually spread around, so I’m experimenting with some stackage Its funny that you don’t do phase shift but go with last scam, I’m the opposite? —-you’re different from me, you must be insane or mentally defective I just can’t come around on spending 5K gold for a few seconds of delaying my death, I prefer a managed crack drip...and only when I have a surplus. Different strokes...

A new, kinda piggy load out I just started running for my 1st drop in BR This baby got BACK! ? get a halo and a shield on there, then you have more protection (to survive on the beacon if it becomes a full team brawl) and the halo helps with locking people down before they get on the beacon, just my 2 cents.

I have run the ECU Halo Glory Strider a lot and that shield is VERY helpful against energy. I have taken it back off recently, however, because I just don't have very high weapons and needed the extra love. I really miss it though... so as soon as I get the Halo that will stay up to about 11, and finish the Nuclear Reactor mod leveling, I will probably put it back on.

l》THE MACHINE《l you are a fountain of Strider wisdom AND unsolicited advice. Thanks so much! I feel the love, first someone tells me I am known to be a good mercury player (they even said pro level) and now you are saying I am a fountain of wisdom, oh my heart. Lol, seriously though thanks for that, I don't feel like deserve any gratitude especially from THE strider expert. Anyway, I have usually been good at giving advice for practical uses and had a way with finding good combinations but using them myself... not so much. I have also been very good at the tactical side of games but I usually fall to typical tricks and my own temper. If ever you want me to give you my ideas and opinion for a build I am glad to help since I guess math has made me good at looking at all the factors so I can pro con anything really well. I may be wrong a few times but I am sure I will give at least an accurate response. Once again, thank you.
