Have they purposefully killed the steam War Robots? The number of people unable to play it is huge! It dropped from 650-700 average online to 250, and there is no one to respond to the riot that is happening atm on War Robots steam... I mean I know it would be contradicting to put that much effort in the graphics and game just to kill it, but I am srsly questioning the sanity of those who got the idea "HEY, I KNOW! LET'S JUST MAKE THIS GAME 10x GRAPHICS DEMANDING AND JUST DISAPIER"! I am yet to understand what is exactly going on with them...

They've (PIX) squandered and mismanaged resources before, I wouldn't be surprised if they did it again. They operate like the player base will just eat all their γdookieγ indefinitely, lol!

I played War Robots on steam as recently as yesterday and it was around 3-4 minutes wait time for each game. The graphics, although much nicer than what I see on amazon, definitely looks dated and/or simplistic in PC world. Obviously Pixonic is still learning how to efficiently program PC game. To make things even stranger, Pixonic's first entry on the PC platform was War Robots VR game/demo (!!!). If I were them I would have ditched pay to win aspect and focused on proper PC/Xbox/PS4 game. Now they are getting slammed in steam reviews and I'm not sure if they can turn it around.

I don't think they are purposely trying to kill Steam since they implemented new graphics (why invest in that development if your goal is to kill it off?).
In my opinion the timing for the update to Steam is awful. They (Pix) are on holiday until the 10th (most likely). Unfortunately the Steam players represent less than 5% of the player base (I saw that in another thread--I can't verify that as a fact), so most likely it's not a top priority issue to address.

They're too busy making "War Robots in other genre" videos to fix Steam. Maybe next year...

Remember they are still playing on the same platform as gameroom - it isn't as if they had to change all the graphics to the new style.

A 50% reduction in use is HUGE the question is do 300 people merit pix's attention? I have to wonder if the game and assets on steam were intended for the "VR" version of the game. Is pix going to push that out? Did they just want to push the assets there and try to recoup SOMETHING from the investment? It does commit pix to making high resolution assets from here on out (or letting the platforms drift) - they MIGHT have tooling that downrez's for other platforms but IDFK - The fact that they didn't manage to deal with graphic scaling/degridation gracefully is not only basic but beyond stupid.

I doubt they purposefully killed Steam.
I think the issue here is that Pixonic is ridiculously slow in responding to problems. The Shocktrain going through walls lasted way too long. Riot or Blizzard would have patched a game breaking bug like that in a number of hours.

I was gonna try it actually...I wanna know what itβs like to fire each weapon inidivdually since my iPhone pretty much only has a DB since the touch area is so big. Whenever I try to fire the top left weapon I use a module. Well played Dixonic

yeah. i was a daily 2-3 hr diamondish grinder before being locked out. i seriously think they are reusing graphics from the vr. version. it's a nice try but not what daily players are gonna opt for.
i unrepented?y left offensive comments and emails and was expecting to be banned some where somehow.. just to cure me of my addixshun. the steam community comments are the most active ive seen ... i was an active player in my clan ' canabis ', and was bummed when i got kicked. i loved being in that clan. mostly french dudes but.....because of the update, gone.... (nothing to do with being neggie lately... i think). but because i couldn't make it passed 1st spawn.it was terrifying... i imagined it to being almost blind like. i died damned near instantly...
so i swore at them a lot. and mentioned that we should start a hunt for pixonic stan..
where in the world is pixonic stan?
thank you forum dudes for letting me vent my steam.
i sigh ned up to facebok for gameroom...5 to 55 minute wait times...steam is still much better..
my question is the steam/fbgr crossplatform. i found my ex clan and requested to join... it was denied, which i expected( i just sighned up yesterday), but was wondering how playing canyon againgst fbgr canyon was gonna go?.. i heard they're 2 different maps. not sure if its been answered or not here thanks guys

There is no question that the PC version is just plain dead. PC game players are much more sensitive with regards to P2W issues and that's not going to bite well on Pixonic.

I reckon a plausible reason to the sudden decrease of players on Steam is due to players' inability to process HD graphics with their regular PCs, it's a FB game afterall. No reason to get a gaming desktop.
Could this be why?
