So it looks like I’m getting a freebie Nemesis from the Reddit giveaway.
Always happy to get a freebie, but a little unsure what role a Nemesis falls into? Looked a most of the youtubers videos and even more confused. Many of them are running close range setups, but then saying it’s not a brawler. Then running mid range but not doing very well with it?
It’s git decent HP and the ability is short duration and short cool down which would lend its self to duking it out in cover, but it’s slow and it’s firepower isn’t great. Could keep it at mid range but ifs firepower is too low and tridents will eat it for lunch?
Just not sure what to do with it.
Any thoughts?

In the Greek Skirmish, actually the Orkan Nemesis was my favorite among the three. I used it similar to an Orkan Doc (once my favorite setup). Shoot slightly out of a cover while being protected by the shield and keep shooting while disappearing from the enemy’s LoS into the cover. The speed 52kmh is slightly faster than a Doc. But that was Skirmish, against mostly newbies, so I am not sure how it will fare in the C league. Still, I would rather try Orkans than the Tulus. I would try to brawl in-and-out of a cover, using the splash of Orkans and its ability rockets. Or, perhaps shotguns? PunisherT? Storm? Glory? Those have max 500m ranges,

I'm in exactly the same situation, currently testing Scourges and they seems to work well. Other sensible setups would be Tulumbas, Ions, Shocktain and Pulsar. I wouldn't play her close range, she doesn't have enough firepower. Her extra rockets are 500m, so I guess it's the best to play midrange.

inspirace, good to know. I was kind of hoping I could brawl with it. I’ll try Orkan first and then perhaps a few other things. I like the idea of punishers, might try Taran and scourge as well. Don’t see the point in using tutu, have a tile Spectre and I think that would just be better at that job no matter what way you cut it.

Scourge makes sense, especially after the recent Orkan fire rate nerf. It can do both mid range and brawl, and the same tactic - disappearing out of the enemy LoS into a cover when the shield is down - would work,

Already have one of those, Yeah, in all seriousness though, maybe put 2x Corona on there.
When the enemy is locked down you activate your Retribution and BOOM!! robot down.
If you don't like this one, then maybe you could put 2x Scourge on there.

You might be thinking of Corona.

You might be thinking of Corona. Yeah... one of those ... They all look similarly uncharacteristic and rolled out so fast, so I won’t bother remembering all those. I didn’t know which one is a Nemesis either, until I looked up the wiki and remembered “ah, the one with Orkans in the Greek Skirmish!!” After all, I won’t own any of them in the near future, or ever, considering my playtime these days. Still, thanks for the correction

Builds I use, in descending order of success:
1. 2x Pulsar 2. 2x Scourge 3. 2x Punisher Ts (shield killers so rockets hit harder) 4. 2x Tarans (350m range is a good compromise point, not too close) 5. 2x Coronas (damage is weak from longer range, pulsars much better) 6. 2x Orkans (this is not meant to be a brawler really with the short shield)
Unlike the Ares and Hades, where using the built in weapons can be your primary strategy, the Nemesis is better played with the rockets as your secondary weapons. You can get off a lot of shots with the short cooldown, but each is limited. It definitely has some good usages, most notably the center beacon tunnel on moon map. You can dominate with it there because people will shoot at you to increase your damage and splash defeats the hiding spots.
