All I want is silver, and if I get any new weapons or robots from a chest, I want to sell them for silver. Let's say I had 3000 keys -- in theory, which chests would give me more total silver (including selling weapons and bots)? Bronze chests or silver chests?

If no one wants to do it for you, you can calculate that by yourself: "Average silver payout" = (item_1 silver worth)*(item_1 probability) + (item_2 silver worth)*(item_2 probability) +... Here are the probabilities: warrobots.com/en/posts/157Little guesstimate (average silver payout per 10 keys): Bronze: "asp" = 11 000*0.85 + 200 000*0.025 = 14350Silver: "asp" = (150 000*0.4 + 1 000 000*0.163)/10 = 22 300Gold: "asp" = 0.75*(0.25*6000*300+0.5*2000*300+0.25*1000*300)/100 = 6 200Rough guess, but I'm fairly certain that silver chest is the best for silver.Downside: Did a similar calclulation for gold payout and silver is the worst by far.

If you have 3000 keys and you don't want to spend time opening Bronze chests, open 3 gold chests. Sell the comps for silver. Quick, easy pile of silver.
If you don't have a stock pile of keys then you will have to grind for your silver:
Play games, get silver and some keys.
Open Bronze chests with adds and keys earned, get silver, gold and Bots. Sell the Bots/weapons for silver.
Depending on how often you play you can actually increase your silver while you are upgrading equipment. After spending silver on an upgrade, DO NOT speed the upgrade with gold. I play enough to pay for the cost of the current upgrade and add some silver to my pile. Even while all six of my WS slots are in use.
If you are building Bots/Weapons in the WS, purchase the one day deals as they cost less then the three day deals. You will have to reload the slots each day, but it saves silver.
This method takes some time to acquire silver. But you will build up your stockpile. If you are in a hurry to get silver, you can always spend real money on one of Pix's awesome black market deals. I do not condone "Paying for Pixels". But it is the fast way to get silver.
I am an F2P pilot and I have well over 100 Million silver. There are 30 Robots in my Hanger/Garage, all different ( I collect them for fun ). I am constantly upgrading and there is always something being "Built" in my WS.

According to my guess from above, 3k keys would, on average, translate to roughly: Bronze: 4.3m silver Silver: 6.9m silver Gold: 1.9m silver
