I have used an Inq with Redeemer and Tarans... Hated it so much I jumped off the carrier to destroy the bot myself.

Easier to hit an immobile enemy.

It's the most dmg bot in my hanger. Yes the aiming is hard to master. I've found it's easier to aim by keeping some distance like 100m or more, 300-350 if possible. At that distance you also out damage most shotty build.

However I wish the bot itself was a bit faster. With that said, I rotate one in my hanger from time to time. I would guess it will become more common since the redeemer got a bump in damage. I think it was underwhelming when it first came out, and most folks already had embers leveled.

Gave it a try and just didn’t get into it. Anyone have advice on how to play the redeemer/Taran inquisitor? I haven’t run it a lot in real battles, but based on my limited experiences: - Redeemer shoots first two shots fast, waits for a while, and shoots another two fast. So it is important not to miss the first two Redeemer shots. This is similar to the “DB” Griffins of old days - the Pinata empties its ammo very quickly so it is important to hit the target at the first a couple seconds, - Unlike the Ember-Taran Quizs, who mostly jump and ambush, this setup shines better as a flanker, i.e. the one who shoots a red shooting at another teammate. Unlike the Ember, Redeemer does not leave a trace of fire, which makes it harder for the target to realize who is shooting at it. Hence, instead of jumping over a target, try to find a target in a multi-vs-multi situation and shoot at it from the side or the behind. If you have used the “PDB” Griffin (Taran Magnum), the ultimate flanker, a Redeemer-Taran Quiz would be an upgrade in almost every aspect - ground speed, HP, jump cooldown, etc. TL;DR (1) try not to miss the first two Redeemer shots; (2) use it as a flanker in multi-vs-multi situation, rather than an ambusher who jump on the target

Regarding speed, yes it's a bit slow. But if it's faster then it might become another Spectre.

Who doesn’t like torched robot slivers?

Personally, I don't like the Redeemer for the Inky, the bot is too slow to keep range properly and the health is too low to brawl with it. I kill Redeemer Quizzy all the time with my Avenger/Carona Inky.
Edit: The Murcury does a better job with it due to its faster speed, and the fact it's usually running 2x Halo.

I've found that I did much better in the PDB Inky against slow heavy bots. The fast bots gave me jitters. If you want to learn this build, and it's probably one of the most powerful builds, then try to prioritize the big slow bots and use them for target practice. Never, never jump in the way you would with a DB Inky. You will NOT kill the target before your stealth wears out. Stay near cover, corner shoot with one Taran, and ONLY step out to give the full nine yards when the opportunity presents itself.
You can also put the same weapons on a Lancelot. The slower speed and frontal shield are good aiming aids.

Play it like an old PDB Griffin. Stay out of Ork range and flank opponents. It can do massive damage in a very short time, especially against non-shielded bots.
I run two Inquisitors, one Ember and the other Redeemer. With the most recent Redeemer buff, I'd say they are about even. I hope both are still viable after the stealth module introduction.

This is the one bot that’s never left my hangar since I’ve been in champion league through all the metas. It’s not amazing at any single thing but it’s the ultimate all-around brawler and puts out constant high DPS.
My advice is to not give up on this build and master its strengths, you won’t be disappointed. At MK2 level 12 bot/weapons you’re looking at 200k durability without boosters and the ability to wipe out multiple bots per clip combined with descend.
Learn when and what to engage and when to flank, retreat and obviously press forward.
Top tier build for sure.

I was a skeptic and held onto my ember taran set up for a long time but I made the change. I don’t like the asynchronous firing between the redeemer and taran but I feel it misses less than the ember.

For the manual aim challenged like myself, Scourges work very well too. I'm running both my Inkies with Scourges right now. One with Glory and the other with Viper. They're not insta-kill builds but they can do decent damage in a short amount of time up close, and can harass at further ranges. No one likes getting hit with Scourges when they're out in the open, and the threat of rooting or corrosion is sometimes enough to chase them back into cover.
Oh, and the ability to hit 2 bots at once is pretty cool too! I had a game where I rooted a stealthed Pursuer while I was hitting another red at the same time. LOL, it was damn lucky but very cool!
