Yup, I ran this for a while until I switched to Dragoon/Pulsars. It's a good build but suffers from lack of mobility which is important for a RDB build. If you want a decent RDB build that won't last forever this is it. The only complaint I had was the range differential between the Trident and the Tulus, but otherwise, it's a solid build. If I had another Lance, I might do this build again, but my hangars are pretty much full with the bots I like.
Just a quick thought on some RDB builds:
Griffin - Solid long time build. No real complaints except that it's slow in today's world.
Rhino - Ditto but is clunky and slow in today's world.
Raven - Excellent replacement to the Griffin if you invest the resource into it. RDB actually works better than DB due to all the stealth bots and now god bots.
Bulg - Pretty solid, but suffers from lack of escape mechanism. The double dash helps but if you've exhausted those, you're a sitting duck.
Inky - Another solid build, but there are better uses for an Inky IMO.
Fujin - Sitting duck that acts as an energy magnet.
Builds I haven't tried but seem solid
Natasha - Excellent bot that will last you a long time. Suffers from lack of mobility, but if you keep it in the 500m range and shoot at corners, she'll take good care of you.
Fury - I don't have 3 leveled Tridents so I've never run this. But, with the new Trident buff, this can become the Dragoon Fury killer.
Falcon - Ditto with Falcon, but the additional mobility and damage resistance should make Falcon a viable Trident platform. The long cooldown for Fangs Outs can be an issue though but then, it also forces you to reload your weapons.
Carnage - Weak to MR energy, but played right, it can be a viable counter to the Dragoon bots too.
Bulwark - Nigh unkillable at MR, this is a beast with Dragoons and I'm betting it'll be a beast with Tridents for the patient pilot.
Raijin - One of my vague long term plans is to level up another Trident and try them on the Raijin. This moveable turret can keep fire lanes open for blues to move through.
