Greetings pilots,
I'm in Android Diamond 3, and I'm moving up. I've got some solid bots, with a few new ones on the way, and I want to know what you think would be the strongest combination.
What I've got...
Redeemer/Mags Mercury
Halo/Gust Pursuer
Avenger/Storm Inquisitor
Orkan Bulgasari
Avenger/Punisher T Lancelot
Trident Carnage
So, that's what I currently have, at relevant levels for Diamond. I also have a single, level 1 Pulsar, but I'm not sure where to put it for best effect. (especially because it is only level 1) I don't have any more lockdown at the moment, though I do have at least doubles (more of Orkans and Tarans) of most standard weapons at relevant levels.
Coming Soon Tulu Spectre (bot is level 5, Tulus are currently 9,8,5,5)- can be leveled fairly quickly. Dragoon Bulwark (1 Dragoon at L6, other Dragoon will be built in 2 days, bot will be built in 9 days. Invader (bot is level 1, not sure yet what to put on it or how to use it.)
I feel like the Bulwark will be stronger than the Spectre, but will take longer to level. Is the Spectre strong enough to level soon and replace something in my first list, or should I just wait for the Bulwark to be ready?
So... what would you do?

I would switch the roles of your inquisitor and mercury. Go redeemer Taran quiz and avenger gust halo mercury. Mercury excells at face to face while inquisitor has the health to brawl with plasma.

Level up your Tulus and put them on your Spectre. Then go out and kill a bunch of Reds.

Good looking hangar!
I can't say much on how to improve it - the core of it is pretty solid. Beyond that, your own gameplay preferences will help shape it, but here are some thoughts:
- The Orkan Bulgasari is a decent brawler. If you get bored, good alternatives are Tarans. If you get bored and also want to go shopping, Scourges are still great (and provide more versatility).
- The Pursuer should definitely stay in your line-up as it's a top notch build. I replaced the Halo on mine to build a root Mender. The recent bug fix means that mixed root builds are less efficient, but if you can't spare a pure root build it's ok to mix them up.
- I agree with the previous comment on switching loadouts between Mercury and Inquisitor. Mercury benefits from the Avenger's increased DPS as you close in and also complements its ability and speed. Gusts on the light hardpoints are best - Punishers are serviceable.
- I prefer the PDB Inquisitor over the Avenger/Storm Inquisitor. Completely different builds. One is a front line warrior, the other is an assassin/support bot (and the Mercury can play that role much better).
- A single Pulsar can be difficult to find use for. The best bot to equip it on would be the Tulumbas Spectre, but you trade firepower for less than average root chance. I'd take more power every day.
- Tulumbas Spectres and Dragoon Bulwarks are the kings of midrange now. I would only run one of them - probably the Bulwark, because the Spectre is better suited for CQC (Tarans/Orkans).
- I'm getting an Invader soon too. I will try it with shotguns first - they seem to synergize well with its ability.
IMO the strongest setup you can build is this: - Halo/Gust Pursuer
- Orkan Spectre - Avenger/Gust Mercury - Redeemer/Taran Inquisitor - Dragoon Bulwark
Since you have many options, do try to rotate them. Other useful setups you may want to try: - Avenger Bulwark - Taran Spectre - Trident Fury (I find it excellent after the buff)

I'm moving into e1 and have less than halve of your bots/weapons... so, you should be fine in diamond. Other than that, listen to kukurukukuk
