They want people to play it but don't want to reward you for it. Like everything else they do the payouts were better in the past but rewards continue to be reduced. You can get that level of Silver just by tooling around in a DM/BR/TDM match without really trying.
It's a balance of less reward for no risk. A regular game can send you up or down league. I'm 'barely' in champion again getting champion crates. If silver were the same regardless of mode then i would only ever play skirmish once I am here.

In skirmish, the payout has to be lower compare to regular matches.
It is not allowed for high payouts, because in skirmish champion players are skill clubbing silver league players just like old days hangar based MM. If this mode is very lucrative, everybody will be clubbing non stop and don't even need to tank. Especially FFA, champ skill player vs beginners will always end up something like 1.5m damage vs poor 500K damage noobs. It doesn't matter what setup it is.
Pix wants you to buy silver, not clubbing free silver. They will prevent any possible way for players to get easy silver.

What’s wrong with skill clubbing? Best way to learn and the best opportunity to gain skills. The game should be all about that and this could provide the best opportunity for noobs to develop.

i agree with your comments in overal, but i played against very skilled pilots from lower leagues gold and below, beating expert to champion league players including myself. btw, MM in this last few skirmish events are plain awful:from bronze all the way up to Champions League players are all thrown in the same gamez

Exactly. Players get clubbed in lower leagues by unskilled tankers, wouldn't you rather get clubbed by skilled players on even grounds?
They nerfed payouts so much because everybody in lower leagues would play only skirmish to escape the tankers if the skirmish reward was even remotely reasonable.
6pack is easily the best way to enjoy War Robots nowadays. Balanced games & very good players. Come join our league or fight nights at Discord discord.gg/vEup3h
If you have some older bots like the Lance, Fury, Carnage, Galahad or Rhino at level 6 or below, chances are that you can equip a very good 6pack hangar. Otherwise just grab a Tulu/Pin or Punisher Griffin, a Punisher/Thunder Leo or Natasha. Virtually no time or silver required. Check out the legal gear at discord.gg/ry6V5z

Rewards are nerfed simply bcoz pixonic cannot earn anything there. In fact it just costs money. It exists solely to advertise robots etc.
I’m surprised they reward us at all

Other than low payout and occasional glitches I really like this Skirmish, only second to the “Hover Airline” one not long ago. FFA skirmish is the best kind because faders won’t be able to affect your win, and as always, it’s one of the three game types that you can only win with skills (the other 2 being 6-packs and X-hangar).
Crazy how ppl complain about everything these days. It's cool how pix comes up with new, interesting setups every time. Try to enjoy the game instead of chasing the silver carrot.

Yeah, it’s funny how an aggressive monetization strategy that forces long time players to leave while crushing new players, paired with a completely dishonest game developer leads to an increase in player complaints.
The Skirmish Ag rewards are just fine, actually very good (my normal average damage is 300k, so I may be biased). I play it always, when it's anything I can enjoy.
Unfortunately, FFA mode of current Skirmish really isn't my cup of tea, as it is all about kill stealing until only two bots remain.

Indeed, many ppl seem to just don't know how to enjoy themselves. Pix's duty is make money, your duty is to have fun. You take from them what you can to fulfill your duty and so do they.
Believe it or not, compared to alot of mobile MMOs, War Robots is actually very f2p friendly. I played games where a 100$ per month is considered semi-f2p
In War Robots I spend like 15-30$/month, I'm fairly new (500 wins) but I'm running around with competitive weapons/bots and I'm having a blast.
Sure, if you chase the top lvl of the game with low money your going to be frustrated but such is live in most MMO's.
I have taken notice that if you do not have premium, skirmish rewards tend to be a bit more silver than regular play when you consider repair costs. However, matches seem to last the full 10 minutes. I usually play one or 2 matches every time. ... this one only once though. Not my style. Really don't play FFA all that much because of long wait times on Amazon.... also, not a sniper type. The one time I did play this one though a bronze level pilot took first with like 3 more kills than me. Wish they had a name so I give them kudos right now, but they still had their pilot ID as their name, so it was impossible to remember.
Good hunting

Well... you may be right...
BUT... and this comes up pretty often...
Most of the heavy complainers (or in my case, fail.fu/suxonit disdainers) are that way because we played the game before it was so blatantly a money grab. Many have quit that loved the game from back then, but some of us just truly love the concept and the core game. We have had a hard time letting suxonit push us away with the fundamental changes they have made.
