I've gotten back into the game for a few months now, but I only noticed yesterday (lol) that if you aren't the first one on your team to an empty beacon, and you're still on it by the time it turns blue, you actually also get credited w/ a beacon capture.
Does this also apply to liberating beacons? As in, if you aren't the first to a hostile beacon, but you're still on it when it turns white, do you also get credited w/ a liberation +1?

Thanks! yes. you only need to turn it into white and it's counted. |

Anyone on the beacon when it turns blue is credited with beacon capture. i.e. multiple people. |

Yes works for capping too. Also the beacon turns more quickly when two are capturing it!

You get credit for a hostile capture when it turns white if you’re on the beacon before it turns and when it turns. When it turns blue you get a generic capture. If you do both you get credit in both categories. It is not uncommon to turn it white but die before it turns blue. In that case you only get the hostile capture
