Hi guys any body tried a scourge spark mender?I'm wondering if it's worth getting a couple of Sparks, cheers Thought about this build, but my sparks arent levelled enough to try them yet. Reckon will help long range support but have concerns over lock on times. Loving my Orkan/Pinata mender while I upgrade them...its an awsome little brawler!

I'm running two lvl 11 Menders. One of them with Scourge (10) and Sparks (9+9).
This set up gives you both range and brawling capacity, which is nice, as you have something else to offer your team apart from what I love about this bot (its ability to deliver health and support when/where needed, mostly at the front line and in the heat of the battle).
My only concern with these weapons is something I've been experiencing often lately, and that has been discussed elsewhere in the forum: increasingly frequent, annoying, unexpected target lock breaks (those that seem to happen just because, not those skillfuly earned by red oponents who know very well what they are doing). Double-deck maps, particularly, may become a dizzy nightmare at some points.
I'm considering alternative set ups... But the thing is that I still really like this one... most of the times

Hi guys any body tried a scourge spark mender?I'm wondering if it's worth getting a couple of Sparks, cheers One of my favorite builds on the test server, although on the live server I was using a Scourge - Gust build, later turned it to Storm-Gust build just so that I can return the Scourge to my Bulgasari. I would say, pretty good. Sparks are strong but you can be flexible with the small points, like putting Shredders or Halos on them. Gradually, everyone has to consider lock down weapon mixes.

I am using orkan, gust and halo setup. i know they have completely different range yet somehow works really good at brawling . My mender is lvl 12 and weaps ( mk2 12 ork, mk1 12 gust, lvl 6 halo) . Can easily kill inqy, ork spectre in 1 vs 1. Only drawback is you gotta wait for ork reload before engaging but + point is unlike other builds it can be pain in butt to kill. Halo helps a lot to lock pursuers while they are in stealth, just fire halo and use heal..once their stealth wears off unload orks and gust. Might seem like it won’t work at start but somehow works really great

I have tried every build imaginable and settled on root weapons. I am running shredders and corona. Corona/ halos rock also.
What's great about the root weapons is that you can lock down multiple bots at once. You can do this when you need some time to retreat. What I will do is kill a red or 2 and when their teamates make a move for me I will lock down 2 or 3 bots at once, retreat to a better position then rinse and repeat. Also great for keeping enemy players away from beacons for a few seconds when needed.
Great bot, good luck and happy hunting!

Storm gust halo is better. NE storms are still cheap and fast. 30 days and approx 60 mill. Scourge spark mender isn't that great. Damage is meh. Mender really enjoys having at least one halo.

Whenever i see one in-game i tend to panic, because when it's healing it gets a 50% damage resistance as well as a speed boost, that thing running at you is pretty scary, especially with another bot following it, even more if you are without shielding, it can close distance while being locked onto you, so unless you have an escape plan or a counter it's gonna bite you pretty hard.
I might just replace my Galahad for one in the future.
