As in question, I won a Rayker and tried different setups, but I cannot figure out which ones are most useful. To be honest, I think Rayker isn't strong enough to be worried about. Do I miss something?
My current hangar: -Shredder/Ember Mercury -Dragoon Bulwark -Halo/Gust Pursuer -Scourge/Ancile Lancelot -Vortex Haechi
(also fully leveled up Shocktrain Bulgasari, and soon Mender will join to the squad)
Should I invest in Rayker?

It will be strong against the new Aries and Hadies. But, it get stuck all the time with those damn spider legs.

The only bot in that hangar I would consider dropping for Rayker is the Ancilot. But I bet that Lance tanks for you and does fine. The Mender is better than both of those things. If it were me, i would sell or box up the Rayker, depending on silver needs, and focus on the mender, or on leveling up the existing hangar.

I also won a Rayker. Weakest bot in my hangar (2 Carnages, Griffin, Bulwark and Rayker). I have it equipped with dragoon and two gekkos. The glance ability shoots too low to the ground, so often does not hit because of uneven terrain. Even the two light weapons are too low. And glance does not go thru physical shields. Low health. Does look mean though and it is fast. I am swapping it for something else ASAP.

Just put it in storage and add it to your collection of bots. Then you can pull it out when there is a task "...use your spider bots for XXX."

I think it's a good candidate for Sting/Shredder/Dragoon. Root, corrode and suppress at a safe range with good damage potential. These weapons also fire fast so you can run into cover.

Rayker is my favorite new bot. It’ll be level 9 in 2 days but even at low level with crappy weapons it can brawl. I don’t have good weapons for it now, Punisher+Thunder, and will get an Avenger tomorrow, but I’ve realized these guns are too slow dealing damage. Burst damage will be better because that 5 second suppression doesn’t last long enough.
I like the look of it, decent speed, and it’s ability is fun. The biggest downside is it has trouble going up slopes.
Brawling is fun because you _have_ to hit with the suppression, that adds a little challenge which makes the kill more satisfying. It’s also fun to just follow behind teammates and suppress the reds they fight.
It might be more tactical to play as a mid-ranger, and I just noticed you’re in Champion league while I’m in Gold/Diamond. I play for fun and it’s working well for that but if your concern is staying in Champ then it’s hard to say. Suppression is a powerful ability, especially with range and speed, but so much shield/stealth/mid-range in Champs it might be difficult to survive. I think ideal would be Viper+Shredder for the infuriating trifecta of suppress, root, and OP corrosion, all with range.

I have been running a thunder/gust configuration with it, as well as an Ancile/ 2 gusts (training wheels build). and this morning a was comparing Thunder to Glory... This is my newest configuration for rayker... If you do spend $$ the sting is cheaper as weapons go. The glory is (for me) the way to go. Enhanced damage, rooting and corrosion.. Sting x2 gives you accurate damage from 600m. I researched the glory/sting combo and found that a glory @ level 6 has as much power as my thunder at level 9. plus rooting ability. I picked up 2 stings after realizing that they are 600m weapons. the Glory is 500m. so that means that I can hit reliably and accurately at 600m.. Stings track well and are extremely accurate. within 500m I can lock'em and dot'em.

I like mine. I have 2 MK2 Gekkos on it a lvl 11 Flux on top. Great long-range sniper. Get within 600 meters of enemies and use Damage Reduction ability. Great support bot on long-range maps. Have not had issues with the spider legs. Got mine to lvl 10 and will stay there for current build.

I have a viper, sting, and halo on mine. Loving this setup. Suppress, lockdown, corrode.

The spread of bullets is far greater than Thunder (not sayin that is any good either) but that friggin thing never roots anything.

That may be true now, however, Pixonic may buff their darling energy weapons bots in the future...just sayin.

Out of the 3 suppression bots, I would have wanted the Blitz, then Rayker and then Invader last. It totally figures that I'm almost done the Invader! Sheesh. If I had a Rayker, I'd probably grind for Stings, even though I don't like those weapons. But the 600m range pairs well with the ability range and the Dragoon I would put on top. If I didn't have Stings, I'd put my Shredders on it.

Bro,don't fret.I got an Invader when Adrian said it was the most balanced of the 3.Weather or not if that's true I like it,it's a beast with high hp and the jump suppression is cool.Im still learning the ins and outs but it is showing potential. I've been racking up kills more and got my first Wrampage with it recently. If I could afford to bring it to L12 Mk1 I think this'd be awsome.

Thank you for responses. I intend to stay in champions so I think I won't use Rayker. I won't sell it in case Pixonic buffs it.
It looks like it should be played from midrange. But then, Suppression is hardly useful (and it's hard to hit). For example Natasha has way more HP and firepower. I would prefer Gekko/Flux Natasha over Gekko/Flux Rayker. Similarly, Dragoon/Sting Natasha is much stronger than Dragoon/Sting Rayker. And we all know there are even better setups with Fury, Bulwark, etc. Whichever Rayker setup I pick, I see better alternatives with other bots.
