So, I have 3x Stings, 1x Wasp, and 1x Viper. (Yes, I paid for extra Black Market keys to try them out).
Sting L12mk1, 11, 6: Even combined with a Blitz and a Halo as it’s fourth weapon, the total damage isn’t what I would call significant on its own right. The Sting fires all its rounds in one second and it seems painful to wait three more to reload.
Wasp L12mk1: Very similar to a Pulsar...my view is that new medium weapons aren’t worth the Ag. Damage is okay and corrosion effect is okay as well but meh...I ran this on a Mender with 2x Halos i think.
Viper L12mk1: The best of the corrosion weapons by far given its the only one that can penetrate energy shields and deal much more damage & corrosion. I put it on my Fury but the bot itself gets exposed too much. So switching to a Falcon as its primary weapon was much better.
Anyone else wishes to opine on the best buildouts and complementary weapons?

Inqy ballista viper ? Ballista aren’t bad after buff. But fire power would be too low I guess. However range would be same. Second would be strider gekko viper. Have faced full gekko flux strider in Yama, it took zero beacon and even with full squad we couldn’t catch him ( rather no one tried as he literally dashed away 400m ) .Even though they’d lost he did 1.4 mil damage with that single bot. Last but not least, bulwark viper. Maybe best combo to use viper with coz of aegis. Drag bulwark are already hard to kill even at 600m, now +500m would be annoying and deadly

- Viper Shredder Strider
- Viper Falcon
- Viper Halo Mercury

The Viper seems very effective, playing it in the latest Skirmish.

I have settled on 2 x stings and glory on a Rayker. This build is best done with support in mind. Decided to try root/surpress/dot and see how it works. Initial playtesting has yielded better than expected results, multiple kills per deployment. As a 1v1 bot, it is superb. However, if you see roving deathsquads do not engage!! I tested 2 x stings(6) and Glory(6) on a level 8 Rayker. The one constant to expect when playing War Robots is never chase a kill very far, because he could be leading you to your death, by death squad.
The Rayker doesn't do groups well unless he has a lot of friends he can hide behind...

I have 3 builds I am enjoying. A 2x viper (L8) on a bulwark, A tempest and 3x sting (8/8/9) Leo, and a Viper (8) sting (8) halo (8) Rayker. Really liking the Rayker, best setup I have ever had for that.

I wasn't too impressed with the Sting and Wasp. Too bad, I was actually looking forward to the Wasp as a Pulsar mate. If you only have o 1 Viper, I think the best platform is the Falcon. Basically, you would use it to chase your target into cover and as soon as they are behind say a low wall, go Fangs Out and pounce from over the wall with Avengers or whatever other high DPS heavy weapons you have.
But, personally, I'm in no rush for any of the corrosion weapons.
