My clan has apparent philosophical differences about hangar development. There's no conflict, people should play what they enjoy, but I have an opinion about what strategy is more successful.
I'm sort of interested in what people here think. Choose which approach you think is best for gaining rank or bettering stats.

Having the right bots & weapons appropriate for each map is ideal. Few things tweak me off more than watching my team spawn camping bots on brawling maps. Also, please stop camping on long range maps too; know when to get aggressive and/or swap into a bot that fits the situational need.

Obviously if someone is dumb enough to open with a camper on a brawler map... perhaps they aren't to be emulated. Let's assume intelligent play. So I am a general purpose/max level proponant. My counterpoint to your comment is that my 4 high level bots have more staying power than having to maintain and upgrade an entire separate hangar with 5 weak bots. I only have 1 sniper bot. On brawler maps he might show up in the last minute. I may one day have a second hangar

I prefer one general purpose hangar, but ZERO MK2 items. Honestly, if good old lvl 12 won't get it done, you might be doing it wrong. I typically run 4 fairly fast short range bots and one medium range.

I've not spent much... so I've learned to fight with the stuff without the bad habits of the PtP people.

I have one hanger that I swap my bots in and out of depending on what I feel like playing. I am collecting bots, trying to get one of each. At this time there are 29 Bots in my collection. Several are at L12. I am now spending most of my upgrade time on weapons. Although when I get a new Bot I will level it up to 5 / 6 just to make it somewhat playable. F2P, just for fun.
