I wasn't trying to get one but kept winning components so now I have an invader. I've got a Storm and a couple of Gusts to put on it that are pretty much leveled up...but I've got to level the Invader. Should I take the time to level it up? It's cool to get something shiny and new but I'm concerned that I'll take the time and effort only to find that it doesn't really contribute to increases damage or wins. With a 20 sec cooldown...it looks like it will land, shoot and die pretty quickly unless the situation is very specific. Anyone have an experience to share? Thanks!

I'm about 110 components away from one. Like you, I'm not sure what to do with it. Other than the novelty of it, I don't think its worth leveling up - not when I have plans for other things. I think if you're current gear is leveled to where you want it, and you're looking for something new, then go ahead. That's my plan. But, if you have things waiting to get to a playable level, maybe focus on that first.
I hope to have another Halo or a Corona to put on my Invader. Playing it in the Skirmish a few weeks back convinced me that you need to Suppress as well as Root to be able to survive in this bot. Plus, don't jump into a mass of reds like I did! Instead, use it to psych out and single out a single red. Make sure you can land close enough that all your weapons do full damage and for 5 seconds, he'll do piddling to you AND can't get away.
I would have preferec a Blitz or Rayker, but I ain't about to spend any money on them! I'm I'll get them for free in due time. Until then, I still have a ton of gear to level up. My playable level is L9 or L10. Thank goodness I don't really have ambitions to max my stuff!

I'm currently in the middle of leveling my Purser...going from level 6 to 7...6 days...I occassionally bring it out and get some training. I've done really good and not so good with it...depends on who I run it against (duh) but I want to get it to lvl 9 and the gusts up to level 11/12. Maybe before long, there will be some more feedback on the Invader...Oh...I also have a pulsar and scatterbox that are in storage. Just don't have time and resources for the forseeable future...but the rooters are becoming more relevant and more painful each day.

I stumbled into one the same way a week or so ago, and took it to level 5 before I gave it a try in Andoid master 1, still under leveled but I try to give it the benefit of of the doubt.. I really like the jump, it's controllable like Mercury, and it's fast and low unlike the other jumpers. That and the HP make it somewhat survivable even without the stealth. It does seem to be a bit under gunned for how close you have to be for the ability he needs a team mate or two to really take advantage of the suppression.
HOWEVER, it is very clumsy on anything other than flat open ground. It slows down on the stairs under the tall building in Shenzhen, and struggles to make it up the ramps in valley. I'm told this gets better with level 9 speed, but I decided I have other stuff to level first.

I got one as well through gold chests and brought it to lvl 5 in exp3 before i used it. Its a great fun bot but if your not just playing for fun and trying to be competitive its not worth the resources.
