Don't have any exp. with root shotguns yet but trying to build an Inq. brawler with them. I have 2 load outs in mind (below) and any actual use advise would be appreciated. Please no "dragoon/pulsar" setups, I'm looking for more of a close range root build with the Inq.
1) Glory w/ Punisher Ts - Root ability
- Large clip PunTs provides long brawl window, better dmg staying power overall
- Decent dmg at range (300+) so better against Orkan/Taran builds
2) Avenger w/ Coronas - Better chance of root - Better DPS but sacrifices damage staying power (once coronas are empty, dps will go way down) - 300+ m damage will not be very good
To me, it seems option #1 is more well rounded but the DPS won't be as high. However, in close ( < 200m) it seems it could still really tear something up. Going by the numbers, option #2 has better DPS and a better root chance but it'll suffer more in long fights and at distance.
Any one have practical exp. with these load outs or weapons? Thx!

I use Glory/Taran and it works great.
I don't think you want to be blending punishers or avengers with root weapons, they have different damage types and wildly different clip sizes.... you'll spend more time managing ammunition than you will fighting.

Your build exploits none of the strengths of anything. Ideally it would be something like pulsars/ember.
I've not heard anything good about glory from clannies that have used it, the stun chance is stupid low. Out of the 2 you mentioned, the corona/avenger seems best on paper.
