You can argue how this is better or that’s better, both the only two weapons I don’t have that inquisitor can run are chimera and avenger, both subpar build to what I can make.
So for everyone’s info, the absolute best build right now is inquisitor with storms and a ember. It’s a multitool bot that will hit in stealth.
I’m not a great pilot, pretty good, but I like to experiment too much, even seeing if jumping into a group will work. I don’t last long on a fair number of occasions but I can tell you that one of my all time favorite builds and one that consistently works against all players, if I play smart, is ember/storm inquisitor.
Try it, like it, love it. Huge dps and short learning curve.

I appreciate your thoughts, btw.

I havenâ??t seen one Molot in months in and I am halfway into master 2. So yes I let that ?dookie? happen because they deserve the win for running that build against all odds. 2. Yes there is a such best build. Its the one that has the highest returns for time spent. Right now its: A. Short range: inquisitor with storms/ember B. Medium range: dragoon furry (with shocktrain/hydra spectre a close second) C. Flux Fury Spending time on anything other than any of those three builds as a newbie is futile, a waste of time. Feel free to prove me wrong though, Iâ??m always open to playing best of five or best of 10 to prove myself right. 3.For point of reference, I am onto my fourth brother clan on IOS now, me being the original founding member btw noodles. I did also have my share of fishing out some whoopins on players with those types of builds. I can attest to that with a low lv hangar in expert2 smackin some masters around from time to time Oh and I am currently looking to be part of a clan. I'm lonely

Pi, Pi Squared, Pi Cubed, Pi To The Fourth. 1) I can agree that for long range, Flux Fury is the best. 2) For mid range it's dragoon Fury or dragoon Bulwark followed by shocktrain Spectre. Hydra builds aren't reliable enough in higher leagues. 3) There is no such thing as best short range build, at least since orkan Spectre nerf. Best in what exactly? 1vs1 encounters, crowd situations, contesting beacons, reliable at 100m+ 200m+ 300m+? Let's say, you're aproaching beacon alone and there is pursuer hidden behind the wall. Assuming you're both at the same skill level, there's no chance you win that with your storm/ember Inq.

Mind you we are on iOS. I think you’d be better off with Fodder and Lb22 at 100300 (clan ID) than me at ? (134618). The reason I say this is because they squad and talk more. I have answers but I tend to stay occupied more with two jobs, a wife, etc.

I have a tempest Raijin, but I dont fancy LR boots. I like it nut to butt, ya dig that cat has watched its owners too much. Lmao! It’s trying to emulate. In a game of attrition mender is one bot that can excel in a 1vs1 game, it can dip behind cover, repair and try again or watch you jump and repair while you shoot, however my mender at like 5 doesn’t even remotely come to the ability of my inquisitor in tough situations. I’ll bet a 1$ that once I know you’re gonna hide behind cover, I’ll find a way to nab you with the inquisitor. Sure it’s tough, but I’ve played 2vs1 while intoxicated and dang near won (you can’t win 2vs1 ever, you can just delay death long enough to appear a win). I’ll have to give you that dollar if you run aphid vortex though, in any situation, that’s prolly the best trench bot. Chuck missiles while hiding from the enemy and repairing. Storm ember inquisitor against any build. You don’t need timing right, you don’t need position right, just stealth resdy and to know what’s coming. Ps look for my new post about mender and weyland

I stopped running hydra for a while, then decided there was nothing wrong besides it’s low dps against Ancile opponents. Right now the best hydra bot would be something resembling a hydra/aphid griffin (I’ve run every combo of hydra for years), although a vortex Bulgasari might be only slightly better and fill the exact same role. 3. A. Yes B. Yes, I’ve dove in on 2vs1 situations and won before the most recent buffs C. Around 250m max because that tends to be what I’ve found to be embers effective range. 270, less ember hits. Ancile and shields it doesn’t matter, the storm and ember are just brutal. 4.You’re wrong because I have won those encounters, maybe 65% of the time. I won and killed the pursuer because I stealth jumped almost into cover and walked back towards cover. That tempted them to push past their stealth duration I also consistently win against pursuer that don’t see me when I jump in on them while their halfway through stealth. It’s long enough to wreck them before they get to cover in far too many circumstances. It doesn’t work all the time but like the Dos Equis commercial when it does it’s beautiful. It will wreck faces whether you get stealth jumped or not and my inquisitor is at exactly 10 across the board.

I described specific situation where Inq is in disadventage, bcos in that situation it is you who have to make a move. With equal skill, so no impatience or moronic moves, pursuer wins. His stealth is longer and with gusts he can smash you even before your stealth wears off. Pursuer is tiny, Inq is huge. That's the thing, in CQC it's very situational which bot/build is the best. Edit: Anyone knows how many posts do I need before I can post without quaranite?

That would make four out a five bot hangar including the pursuer. Try the quizzy though, he will surprise you. Hint: when facing two people jump towards and try to kill the bot in the back. I figured you’re out of quarantine, your post showed up immediately. But then again, you could just edit a really informative post 15 times like I have, more than enough to annoy the mods to the point where they take you out of quarantine. Lol.

Ps look for my new post about mender and weyland Oooooh I beg to differ on 2v1, because I have done it! Timing is absolutely everything. Raw stats show inquisitor would destroy a mender in a fair face off given both abilities available. BUT..... I would never charge an inquisitor knowing he still has a stealth ability charged. Ive beaten those things head on without using my ability. It's a shotgun mender build. I just run in circles and sprinkle some pepper on my eggs

Just tried the Ember/Storm combo and immediately got a Wrampage. Thanks for the suggestion!
