I won this last content creator challenge, making it the 3rd contest in a row that I won. I asked for 3k gold and am awaiting it's arrival, where it will be used to help level weaponry I want to invest in.
I currently have half a shredder, and have requested a 2nd shredder alongside the Rayker on this next challenge I submitted for (they increased the prize so you can ask for any bot + any weapon + 2k gold and a bunch of silver on top of that as a whole prize bundle).
I currently have a level 1 Exodus, level 2 Glory, level 6 Avenger, level 8 Tempest, level 8 Ember (though not a fan of it) And my level 10 dragoons are already strapped on to the Bulwark I use to reek chaos with. So I guess it all comes down to- Avenger, Ember, Exodus, Glory or Tempest?

Exodus Gust/Halo or Avenger might also work with stunguns.

Exodus Gust/Halo or Avenger might also work with stunguns. I got plenty of Gusts haha, but my Pursuer and Mender are already using them and kicking total robot 「bum-bum」 with them. |

The rayker’s suppression laser goes out to 600m. Standard bot construction would dictate that you should match all your weapons ranges. So dragoon/ spark would seem to be the optimum build.
I’ve used dragoon/ shredder to great effect with my rayker. It’s so satisfying to suppress and lock down reds and then hammer them with a dragoon while they’re stuck. I can almost feel it when their phone hits the wall from being thrown from frustration. ?
But of the weapon choices you listed I would either go with the glory for greater lock-down chance or the ember as a ‘get away from me’ weapon if the reds get to close to you. Any enemy bots that aren’t suppressed will chew right through the little guy.
Definitely don’t use weapons that have a longer range than the suppression laser. You might as well use a vityaz for that.
Right now now I have an ancile equipped to mine as a bit of an experiment. It does extend its survivability but I miss the damage of the dragoon. Heck when I get mine to a higher level I might build a thunder /gust setup and try to brawl with it.
The suppression laser can hold two charges. Each charge takes 9 seconds to reload. The effect lasts 5 seconds. Enemy damage is reduced by 90%. (the other two suppression bots effects are only 75)
ALWAYS suppress first, then engage!

I have a lvl 11 Flux and 2 MK2 lvl 12 Gekkos on my lvl 9 Rayker. GREAT sniper, then edge in close enough to use the suppression charges.

Tectonic, is that 90% suppression at 1v1 12 or MK2 12?
