I am only a few hours from my 6 Wsp packets finishing falcon. I only really have one avenger leveled to 6 a tempest leveled to 6 and a thunder leveled to 9 that I used to use on my inquisitor. I have second level 1 tempest and was thinking of trying that full machine gun build regardless of levels. Yet I think fangs out doesn't give me the time to unload a tempest clip. If you have any other ideas other than maybe exodus to accompany a single avenger or thunders to accompany avenger, that'd be nice. And I'm also in iOS expert and I don't mind biding time to grind silver for upgrades I already know it'll take a while to 9 everything

I'm leveling my Falcon (5 atm). I use Avenger as main weapon and Thunders (old economy) as secondary. With Thunders you don't have to worry about the reload. The problem is that you have to be close to use them. But the idea is to use Fang Out only if I'm sure I'll kill the target, or the enemy is focusing someone else.
I thing 3x Dragoon would be best - they reload themselves, you have more range, you can jump to hit some hidden enemies.

I'm almost done my 3rd Chimera. Too bad I won't be done before the changes to WS2.0 hits today (if they do). IDK, I sent them a note in game saying that if they went't thru with the change to the WS, I'll stop spending money and then jump ship to BoT as soon as it's fully released. I hope other people have sent them similar messages, but I doubt Pix would listen.
Anyway, I've been seeing a lot more Falcons since 4.3. I was running one before 4.3 and I was the only Chydra Falcon I've ever seen. It was an incredible Chydra platform and I for one hated the change to heavy weapons. Anyway, you have to be very careful of the timing with the Fangs Out. Remember they don't flip out instantly and you can't jump instantly either. Timing is critical, and with more and more root weapons out there, it's going to be even more critical. Until my 3rd Chimera is complete and leveling up, I'll be running my Falcon with L10 Thunder in centre, and L8 Thunder and L9 Ember on the wings, and I only run it in KOTH where it actually does some good in the CB brawl.

To be honest iam very reluctant to invest in it cause of the root weapons mania. It hasnt got any shield against them like Bulwark or even bettere Lanc that has cover at more parts of the torso.
Also if rooted, you are in a very tight spot. Don't have stealth to avoid targeting. If you pull fangs out so you can at least fire while rooted you are a goner. So you are left rooted with one heavy firing.
With this in mind and 0 experience (I run Bulwark) , I would lean towards middle or long range.
I have seen a death squad with a falcon in it but it was 5 spectres and him so I guess that's another story.

I have 2 falcons and rarely used the medium weapons. The heavy weapon buff made me lean towards mid-long range builds, which in turn led me to realize that the falcon ability cool down and the full recharge time of a Trebuchet match up perfectly.

Tempests barely fit the whole clip if I can keep shooting the whole time in fangs out. But I tested what if u don't shoot all the bullets? Turns out it'll reload anyways! Super awesome ?

The heavy weapon buff made me lean towards mid-long range builds, which in turn led me to realize that the falcon ability cool down and the full recharge time of a Trebuchet match up perfectly. I thought about that too. I was actually trying to count the total time you have once you hit Fangs Out to when you can activate it again. Fangs Out lasts 10 seconds, cool down is 10 seconds, and the animation to swing them out, plus the wait to jump is about 2 seconds, so yeah, timing works out pretty close. And, you can add an Ancile or a 3rd Treb on the centre point. My problem is that I don't have many Trebs... oh well... So, if you put a 3rd Treb on the centre mount, you can go "pow" quickly followed by "double pow". And you can jump back to safety if threatened. So, basically, similar firepower to a Fury, but more mobile and more durable. Only downside is that because the Trebs have a fire while reloading mechanism, they can't take advantage of the auto reload of the Falcon's ability. So, if you ever miss the timing up, then you might not have full power on the wing Trebs.

But yes... weapons that have a magazine reload once the fangs are pulled back in, regardless of whether or not they were emptied.
(At least, they did when I had Tarans on it before they switched it back to 3 Heavies)

Was trying out 3 zues on mine earlier. Its like a zury with jump ability to get a spectre angle on a red.

The heavy weapon buff made me lean towards mid-long range builds, which in turn led me to realize that the falcon ability cool down and the full recharge time of a Trebuchet match up perfectly. been using dragoons from my fury on the falcon. Hands down the best MR build out there. Tanks almost as good as the bulwark. However, the extra fire power helps but the JUMP gives it so many new angles to fire from as well as helps it get into better spots. Hydras and chimeras are not even a problem after level 5 or so unless they are MKII. At level 8 your falcon becomes a beast tank unless you're being rushed by shotguns. Been playing KOTH since the game mode reshuffle and I'm sad to see it taken away. I spent so much time just blasting all the kumihos and pursuers with the falcon. On smaller maps I used a vortex specter.
I think within these 2 days I've gotten about 20 million silver with premium which is pretty good considering it was KOTH which gives out way less silver. Falcon also naturally helps you with repair costs.

If I had an abundance of Tridents leveled lying around, I think I would have gone for a TT Falcon. But, I'm pretty committed to the Chimera build right now, so it's too late to change my plans.
