So...been playing a few weeks and here’s where I’m at with my hangar: I also have a L1 Kumiho I’ll be working on and a GI Patton with 4, L5 Noricoms I sometimes bring out. (I have Raijin, Lancelot, Destrier, Vityaz, Boa, Doc, Cossack, and Golem as well but these seem to be the best to play with right now.) Current goal is to get everything - Robots and weapons - to L6. Weapons are on their way to L5 right now (working on the last Spark then it’s on to the Punisher Griffin). I have a Flux cooking in the workshop as well. Got the Arbalests but I;m starting to think they’re not so hot. On chests, I’m saving keys to 1000 to get the better chest; is that a sound strategy or should I be getting the smaller chests instead? How does the hangar look and the upgrade strategy sound?

I would switch the leadhose Griffin to RDB (Tulumbas and Pins). It’s super cheap and very effective well into the mid leagues.
Lose the Arbalests. They’re worthless. If you must use a long range Leo, get a couple more Gekkos.
The Plasma Fujin is okay, not a build I like, but I’ve seen it used effectively.
The other Griff is fine. Obviously if you could get Scourges on there it would be even better but that’s probably a while off and by then you’ll probably be looking at new bots.
The Natty is really kind of a mess. They work best as mid or long range. I would probably take the treb and Gekko from the Leo, get a second of each and use the Natty for your long range bot while turning your Leo into a brawler. Or just replace the Natty with your Kumi when it’s ready.
Oh and start making some Orkans. They’ll work well on the Kumi or really whatever.

Lose the arbalest and sparks and join 6 pack.

I’ve been really disappointed with the Arbalests. They looked much better on paper than their performance. The Sparks, though...those have done well for me, especially with the Tarans occupying the other two slots.
My Kumiho has a pair of Orkans and runs ok, it;s just a L1 not so is in desperate need of an upgrade (or 10...).
I go back and forth between the Natasha and other bots. I need a solid brawler to deal with spawn campers. I’ll see how the Leo works for me for that one.
What’s wrong with the Punisher Griffin?

From what I understand, Arbalests will get a buff soon.

Saw that in the new balancing changes list along with a buff to the Natasha. It will be interesting to see the impact to gameplay....

What’s wrong with the Punisher Griffin? Nothing in particular, just not as good as an RDB Griff (or a D.B. Griff, PDB Griff, Shotgun Griff or a variety of other builds). Really you could just run an RDB Griff and no long range bot at all. That’s what I did for a long time. I eventually added a Zeus Fury as a second midranger. You really don’t need any long range unless that’s just what you enjoy. Up to you though, if you like the leadhose and it works for you, go with it.

Vs. an ancilot I'd take the punisher griff every time. Different bots for different purposes.

With the upcoming meta shift though, who knows. Some of the bots splash was most useful against are being nerfed.

Some of the bots splash was most useful against are being nerfed. Based entirely on 6 pack experience. A lot of people will run multiple punisher setups. Not many people will run more than one RDB, if any. At least on a balanced format - all level 6 - punishers are competitive with plasma, midrange rockets and close range rockets. (competitive doesn't mean standing at 300m and firing at each other).
