Just planning ahead, my upgrade queue is so backed up it'll be forever before I actually add a fifth slot. I wanted to hear some opinions.
Currently I'm running a four bot hangar, FFA exclusive:
Spectre- x4 Orkan Bulgasari- x3 Taran (upgrading 3 scourges to utilize the physical shield better, as well as me not liking Tarans) Mercury- x2 Shredder + Avenger Pursuer- x3 Gust
I call them the Venom Mob, however I just realized today that if I add a fifth bot, I can call it "Five Deadly Venoms" and that is just perfect.
Flux/ Gekko Hellburner is currently my first choice. Thoughts?

Think about Haechi (orkans/tarans) or Inq (orkans/tarans+ember/redeemer) If you don't wanna second Spectre.

Kumiho-Orkan imho... a little overlap with pursuer, but better at beacons and a little less squishy.
Pursuer can do that, but is better suited as an assassin. Kumiho can actually get there fast and hold the ground.
I have not much of an opinion on Hellburner. See them exceedingly rarely at champ, but they are certainly fast.

Only dealing big damage and stealing kills, though Kumi is pretty good at the latter, I'm not a big fan of only 2 weapon slots. A decent suggestion.

Don't discount the Kumi... if Bulg is your experience with Dash... Kumi will be a revelation. It gets out and back to cover very fast. It can rain havoc if you get behind people. It's a good bot in a squadron. I will follow one of my clan mates in a Haechi with 3 Orkans around and together we give people a lot of stomach problems. I have godliked in it more than a few times and not against marshmallows. If you're not a fan of 2 weapons... why hellburner?

Kumi does seem like a good option though. Stealing kills is its business and probably not a bad choice for a first drop, since everyone and their mother seems to spawn their Spectres right away. If that happens I can dash to cover and punish.

I can't remind myself how many times Orkan Kumiho killed my Spectre

I have a few more Orkans lying around that are lvl 9

I don't think I've had a hard time dealing with a Kumi in my Spec unless they snuck up behind me as I was going after someone else. Still tho, half of FFA is stealing kills away, so you guys are making sense.

But most of the time they are able to dash behind the obstacle, wait till your descend wears out and then chase you.

If you ask me seriously go for arbalest detirer if you need a joking answer go for a falcon it will come handy with the resistances update. Any medium weapon works on the falcon as long as they fire off their entire salvos in 10 or less seconds

And very easy when they're not.

Hellburner is a damn good choice but you have just a couple options
Thunder or Glory and Gust or Halo
The bot does over 40k damage starting lv8 and it hits 75m multiple targets. It runs 100km.

Seeing as all this new stuff takes ages to upgrade... see what you have lying around with decent levels of health, speed, and appropriate slots for pre- leveled weapons. Because any bot can be decent in FFA at the right time and/or situation. Hell, I still use Leo in FFA & tend to get 2-4 kills at the spawn simply because it and it's Ancile is level 12MK2.

What about Ember/Gust? I'm not interested in spending the cash on components for the latest root shotguns, so it'll be a while before I acquire them. Hellburner tho, seems like a nasty boy. Some guy was trolling the field in it during a match this morning. Fast as all hell and very rude with the overload ability.

Isn't every after dash bots bot long to upgrade with a few exceptions? In their infinite wisdom, Pixionic is making sure the haves and the already haves will remain on top for a long time. I was lucky. I had a solid core of old-economy stuff I've developed so it is less tedious to roll in one weapon or bot. I can't imagine starting from a clean slate. I would tell those people to find another game to be honest.

It's easier to place a round than keep a constant stream of fire at that speed. This bot is faster than pursuer. It makes the best use of shotguns by far

For FFA i would suggest adding Orkan or Scourge Kumiho, Taran Spectre, Taran Haechi and maybe Scourge/Spark Hover.

Thanks all. I really do think I'm gonna go with Kumi. Not like I can't just switch it out and try other bots in the future, but I think I've made my mind up. I've got a pair of high level Orkans lying around, perfect to for the bot.

I'd go either Taran Haechi after you get the Scourges for the Bulg, or a DB Inky. That way, you'll either have 2 dash bots and 3 stealth or 1 dash bot and 4 stealth. I'd lean heavily on the Inky though if you play FFA exclusively. Maybe even outfit it as Ember/Taran or Redeemer/Taran to add some variety in weapons to your hangar. There's still a lot of Haechis in FFA, so you need at least one or two builds that can take them out.

Kumiho Scourge is brilliant at stealing kills. Scourge spark hover can control distance with ability and stay in the sweet spot. 300m+ Orkans Below 100m Midranger 350m+ Tarans 500-600 kinetic and Tulum has and ST

Just go with the Flux Geko Helburner. I guarantee the reds aren't prepared for that. I wasn't prepared for that.

Seems heavies and Falcon may be beefed in the next update as well as a few light weapons, this may give you more options.
