I have a level 7 Spectre with L 10 Tulumbas.I have 2 other Scourge Specs that I occasionally change with Shocktrains but Scourges seem easiest and most successful. I'd like to try something a bit different with the Tulumbas and have been told by others that they love the build.I could use some advice on running this build.

Get your Tulus at high level, stay at 500m, shoot at corners, don't get hit.

I love the build and it is one of my most productive. I tend to let the Tulums reload and only release in full salvos especially for corner splash damage. While jumping in stealth I will use more staggered shots to ensure accuracy while moving.

Pick out (or pick on) targets without Ancile shields.

Hide behind cover. Stealth jump. Unload.
Repeat
Actually i'm moving around all the time and usually do short bursts. I tend to only jump if i'm in trouble. It's a fast enough bot that you can generally scurry around without getting too much damage. Exceptions are the shocktrains, of course. When they're out, I stay away from team mates. I've found playing on tight maps w/ beacons I'll try to cover center and splash the fast bots. That's very effective. I work on not wasting any shots because you just don't have enough. Also with those 500m shots, travel time plays into it. So before I unload them all, I gotta make sure they can't get to cover before they arrive. Wasted a lot not paying attention. If i'm paired up with mate and going against shield, i'll waste them taking out the shield so they can finish.

Use their full 520 range. Only works if you are on the same elevation as your opponent.

Just started using it. Spectre is L6. Fun build. Have at it.
Oh... my tulumbas came off my griffins and are L10/11. Nothing MK2 in my hangar.

Only jump shot laterally and backwards to get your load on target. Practice lead shooting while jumping laterally... The SPD is a workhorse if you don't treat it like an Orkan Spectre. Lead shoot..lead shoot..lead shoot. Use the 520m range like its your personal booster secret.
I have an overlay bore sight on my screen for 520 range and stealth 「loose lady」s. Works a treat.

I’m planning on using tulu in my first spec as soon as pix sends him. They seem like a pretty solid build from everything I’ve seen, as long as you can keep the range.

Get your Tulus at high level, stay at 500m, shoot at corners, don't get hit. Short, sweet, and to the point. This is basically how you play it.
On a side note, if you see an Taranancilot, jump into his shield and run into his face and he can't shoot you. The angle is so extreme that his tarans are blocked by his physical shield.
3:56 in the video, you'll see what I mean.

Get your Tulus at high level, stay at 500m, shoot at corners, don't get hit. Main advice right there... Gotta let the splash do the work.. remember the ranges of weapons and use the standoff distance... works wonders.. This is an awesome trick to counter the ST.. when they dash behind cover.. hit the splash... Learning and using the distance of the weapons to your advantage is a tactic not many fully understand....

- 99% of the time I only fire after full reload
- I use the reload time to hunt my next targets
- I mostly stay grounded, only using stealth for evasion or to land hits on a target that’s inaccessible from the ground attempts.
- I disagree with not firing at Anciles. A full load will weaken or eliminate the Ancile altogether, and at higher levels also do some damage. If you don’t care about the tactic of removing Anciles to help your team and just wanna get damage, don’t fire at Anciles, wait til someone does it for you, then fire. In general it is better to hunt Ancile bots whose Ancile is being dropped, but it is equallly important to be the one dropping it imo
- When the target is a stealth or dash bot, only fire a partial load of one Tulumba. This baits them to use the special abilities, after which you fire a full quad salvo. Devastating!

Take out st setups first. Most of the time you can easily hide before stealth ends but get killed due to secondary st hit from your teammate. So it’s quite impossible to dodge it unless you are in full squad . Rest of it would be same as ork spectre ,except keeping range and damage in mind ( jump-hit-hide-full reload-repeat)

It reminds me of Pixonic's plans on enabling off range targetting. So far the only weapon I know that will follow the target beyond its range is the Pulsar. Spash weapons will benefit greatly from this.

A physical overlay or something digital? You play on an emulator, correct?
