Okay, there’s no need to talk about this. But there’s a different perspective when it comes to issues like this.
Everyone knows what is happening at the moment: Pixonic just removed gold rewards from Battle Royale and as a result, everyone is having problems with their games right now to the point that they are planning to boycott the game.
Here is the worst part of it – the actual culprit behind this one big mess and the thing that the company should be blamed for: Pixonic did not create an alternative system for earning resources to replace this one, despite their previous announcements that they will do so.
Let’s be frank: Players will not be raising their pitchforks and get to this point if the “dynamic resource gathering” system that was promised by Pixonic was pushed out in time, ideally before this thing happened.
Which brings us back to the number one problem – content execution.
If this was any other game, Pixonic would have not just apologized – yes, they only did it after players made an outcry – but actually would have made “peace offerings” in the form of in-game rewards, as well as a concrete promise that they will deliver it, with a firm timeline and proper updates and transparency on the in-game content that they are going to make.
---
So, why are we even playing this game despite the fact that we are rather robbed blindly in front of us?
---
Read more inside the article for the other points that I've made...
---
One thing is for sure: This was the worst change that has happened in modern War Robots history.

I don’t care all that much. I am not sure it was a great business decision but gold has no value to me in the new economy (since upgrades are too expensive to justify spending RM to buy Au) and this change does not affect my enjoyment of the game. I am just glad I started playing before the new economy because I have a huge advantage over new players in terms of leveled premium bots that I can level even higher cheaply and more Ag than I could spend in a year in the current market. In general, I prefer the new economy to the old, once you factor in workshop 2.0.

worst change? that's a fiercely contested title you're talking about. There have been so many worthy challengers. This is one of them, but I'd have to say the belt goes to the instant shocktrain entered the game.

But this was the change that made even those at the upper parts of the league scream "Boycott!" so, make that of what you will.

hey man... you mean they removed gold from royal (not black market) right?
because I just spun a few BM chests a few hours ago and won a few golds here and there.
might want to edit your thread title and mentions of BM along with your article on your website.

Not to nitpick, but they never apologized for actually making this change; they only apologized for not telling anybody they were making it. After everybody screamed that they made it without telling anybody. And I don't know if another game company would have offered reparations, either; any company that continually makes such changes to their game that takes things away from players or otherwise makes acquiring things more difficult to do or acquire for the sole purpose of squeezing more money from those players, screwing over their longest- term players in the process, is lower than pond scum. Face it, this is not the same company that brought us this game on the first place. Yeah, it's operating under the same name, but the original creators of this game loved gaming and wanted to give players the best experience possible -- which they did, and that's why the game was so successful; the current owners only love money.

The worst change? To be honest I would have preferred if Pixonic had balanced everything and made the new stuff cost a million dollars. I don't need any of the new stuff, I just need a balanced game.
To me the introduction of the Shocktrain was the worst change.

I still think they are bringing way to much stuff to fast into the game... instead, they should focus on one weapon or bot per month. This way when they do the testing it will ensure its ready.. instead of being tossed out, tested then thrown into game..

Worst change was saying 「fluffernutter」 balance, we're going to sell power, and sell it often.

lol he edited the "BM" to "BR" and kept the "B" so the change would be smoother and possibly slip by unnoticed. I don't know anybody who calls It "Battle Royale".

This was in no way whatsoever the worst change in modern War Robots history.
MkII and the introduction of the new economy are seperately and combined the worst things that have happened to the game by a mile. Everything else is just kind of rubbish or (in a few vary rare cases) kind of OK

The premium bots should have just that. An awesome event when u see one in battle or ACTUALLY take one down.. They are making things too obsolete too fast.. I actually prefer the new economy though, puts more of an emphasis on v i.p and upgrading and building.
