Just released on the 13th of August, check it out: (Video link HERE ) Hey folks,
Look what I found! Another mech shooter for mobile!
Robot Warfare is an arena mech shooter, much like War Robots, Robokreig, and the like. Except that you can play in 1st person pov, or 3rd person pov. In this clip I only used 3rd person.
This was just relaesed on August 13th, so there is bound to be some tweaks and changes down the road. But, for what it is it feels like a pretty solid shooter that has potential to compete with the bigger titles.
As always, thank you for stopping by. If you enjoy the content please hit that like button, and subscribe to my channel for more to come!Social Media: YouTube / Facebook / TwitterRobot Warfare Online is produced by Azure Iinteractive Games, LTD , and can be found in the Google app store: CLICK HERE to download the Android app. (I don't know if it's been released for iOS.) You can check out Robot Warfare's Facebook page HERE .

The important question is, what kind of monetizaion model does it have?
Can you buy success and power?
Can you buy play time?
Can you buy fluff (skins etc)?
Can you buy variety (bots/weapons which are different but not really more powerful)?
Is it ad based?
Something else?

You can try it for free and see for yourself, or you can wait until later on when I post a more comprehensive look into the game. I am still asking those same qestions, as I have onlynplayed a few hours of it. What I can say, some of the structure, and usage of ads mirrors War Robots a lot. As far as the pay wall, etc... no clue yet.

After playing 5 matches (BTW you can find me on the US server under the same name) Here is my first impression.
The game is clearly modeled after War Robots.. it uses silver for primary currency, gold for speeding things up and buying "co-pilots" (hanger slots) it has a lot of the same elemnts like tasks and you can only upgrade one thing at a time.
Depending on how much time they spend on development this game could flesh out very quickly since it's following War Robots so closely.
The UI is a mess.. it's taking me a minute to get use to it but you have a garage (hanger) you can upgrade bots from there or "equip" to go into weapons to upgrade... very similar to how it's laid out in War Robots just not as nicely done.
bot animation is kinda funky, there is no individual weapon control as far as I can tell, you can turn off the auto fire but you basicly just have "red button"
so far all my bots have had 2 weapons though so I guess it's not critical, this game feels a lot more "arcady" then War Robots.. it's a run and gun game, matches seem to end fairly quickly but individual fights can last a few seconds.. it's not a insta pwn orkan dump like on War Robots.
The free aim control is kinda cool, and it has zoom feature which is nice, but there is no way to reconfigure the UI so I keep hitting zoom when I am trying to hit fire.. hopefully they allow us to move the controls around a bit.
The game seems to give a fair bit of info about what's going on.. including the option to turn on FPS counter and the graphics settings are adjustable low, med, high, etc
The game IS fun, and I will surely spend more time in it and hope they continue to develop it.. depending on the path they choose to go down this could be a great competitor to War Robots and frankly I would welcome that as competition is always a good thing for the players.
Overall I give it a 3.5 out of 5 and a sold "check it the 「fluffernutter」 out" seal of approval.

No iOS I’ve played a couple titles on iOS from this company though: Planet Commander and World War Heroes. PC felt very much like War Robots in the leveling and such mechanics. It was fun for several spins but eventually it seemed to be just face smashing, plus there was a debilitating scope bug. WWH I’d forgotten but still have it installed. I remember really liking this game but faded because it was getting too intense. Will have to boot it again. Would really like to play RW, hope they are working on an iOS port.

Wow.. deeper I go the more of a clone it seems to be of War Robots, they even have a bot named gepard
they have chests that work like BM, "deals" (they even use a freaking "%" for it), you can watch ad's to open "common" chests as well as to reduce upgrade time.
Some of the bots have 6 or 7 weapon slots? wut? they really need to work on damage notification a lot of times I just die without even realizing im being hit.
only seems to have 2 modes.. FFA/TDM.. that's ok though for now.
One thing I like is while you have free aim you can also auto target and it locks on without need for aiming.. and also the info window tells you what type of weapons the target has and range.. very handy.
The maps are ok but not designed for easy of movement.
I'll be surprised if they don't get sued it's like they lifted the entire design of War Robots.. the bots are different but otherwise it's like a shot for shot movie remake.
Already ran into some shield bots and got stomped.. if you have the money you can just buy stuff outright like on War Robots.. so hmm.. we'll see how things go.
It's still pretty fun though.. smash face is about right.. have even less strategy then War Robots.. it's very arcade like.. that's not necessarily a bad thing though cause most matches are running like 2-3 mins.

It's been out for a while. My review of it is here somewhere...
I stopped playing it a long time ago. Maybe the one I played was a beta? It had potential back when I played it. Maybe I'll give it another look if it's gotten better. It was hard to get matches and P2W was very obvious.

Game has major match maker problems..
Im lv8.. I've been running into some bad bots lately and getting my 「bum-bum」 handed to me.
Gold is REALLY hard to come by in this game, I finally earned enough to get my 3rd "co-pilot" the 3rd bot is under leveled and im not sure how it calculates strength but now it's sticking me with lv4's and im slaughtering them and know how it feels..
Hopefully they work on that, cause getting clubbed sucks, and doing the clubbing sucks in it's own way.. it's not a fair fight. On the other hand I guess I'd rather be the one doing the clubbing.

The game only has 2 modes, death match and team death match.. but it's random.. I like TDM better.. seems like in DM most of the other players just wait to die.. it's boring and involves a lot of walking back and froth a lot of the time.
at least in TDM it seems like the teams are trying.

There is a P2W element here. All the bots you can buy have a built in shield (Ancile), and none of the F2P bots have one, but you do get new bots simply by moving up in levels. Early on you could buy one for $5 or save up 550Au, which seems to be the case with all the premium bots. The $$$ bots do have different paint jobs, so you can tell who grinded the Au vs. who whipped out the credit card. There is no cost benefit from buying a bot with gold vs. RM, just time. You can't seem to get inside a shield like you can in War Robots, but since most of us in War Robots have experience beating down energy shields before charging, it's a normal thing. Since the bots only seem to become available as you advance in levels, it might let me buy that shiny new Titan for $50, but not let me run it until I reach that level. Idk... somebody with money might have to try for us. The weapons have the same level restrictions on them as the bots, and there don't seem to be any weapons for RM, only gold, but, like War Robots, you can simply buy the gold to get the weapon, then the silver to level it. There are three maps so far, don't know what they're called (Asian Bathhouse, Loading Docks, and Abandoned City?). I seem to draw the loading docks the most, which is setup like Springfield with tight corners/cover/obstacles on one side and more wide open on the other. It takes just as long to cross. There are no beacons, just destruction, either individually or in a team. Since you acquire new bots as you level, there is no shortage of bots, just pilots. So you buy additional pilots for gold. When one bot is destroyed your "hanger" pops up and you can select from your inventory. Since you probably have more bots available than pilots, the game defaults to your next most powerful bot in the first spot, and if you want a different one you have to scroll through to the one you want. I don't know how many pilots you can have, the first extra is like 100Au, the next 500, the next 1500, and I have not been playing long enough to have that kind of gold. Silver I got lucky with early on and won 500K in one of the daily reward chests. I used it to level weapons as high as possible, but didn't worry too much about the bots themselves, as the next best bot is just a level away; however, like War Robots, the weapons are transferable. Upgrade times & cost are pretty cheap & fast, especially after being conditioned by War Robots. I haven't figured out if you can sell bots and/or weapons, I'd like to not have to scroll through 10 bots for the one I want when I only have 3 pilots. Can you have more than one of the same bot? I THINK only the premium bots, which have both a gold price and a RM price. When I paid the 550Au for the first one, the RM option didn't go away, but again, somebody with money will have to test that theory. Match Maker? I don't think it exists. When I was lv5 I was often put against 10s (not the Bo Derrick kind), and now that I'm lv10 I'm still being put against 5s, but that may have to do with player base more than anything. I see it happen more and more in War Robots as the player base declines.
In short (not so short) this is a fun game to burn the time while your War Robots upgrades complete and has a lot of potential to grow to rival War Robots. Right now there only seem to be 18 levels. We'll see where they take us from here forward. Props to the OP for bringing this to our attention.

Tried the game out.
I haven't had any issues with the MM yet except a few people who bought the $5 dollar bought early on. As for some tips I'll say this. So far, the best weapon I've found is the 150 meter rocket weapons. They're like orkans. The dashing robots are worse. The robots with the sprint ability are the best. Sprint almost doubles your speed and last three times longer than the dash does. Dash is actually a little slow. Aiming is not too hard on this game because target lock exists unfortunately but target lock is bad if you are aiming at range with rockets as it does not lead the target as say a trebuchet would.
Haven't encountered any super strong p2w bots yet, only the cheap one in the beginning. It's basically an upgrade from destrier to gepard from back in the classic War Robots days.
Gold is hard to earn as someone said earlier.
Not sure how advertisements work yet. It seems as if you get a certain amount daily because after I ran out, it was not replenished after playing a few matches. That kinda sucks because you have to sit through upgrade times and the only way to rush is with gold. Rockets are ALOT more OP in this game generally speaking (tulumba or orkan copycats) because you can aim above buildings with the free aim. This makes the splash much more useful especially on the taller bots. I'm gonna create a video just to demonstrate how OP the splash radius is in this game with the combined ability to free aim around any obstacle.
Jump bots jump straight up in the air, kinda like a midget hover so don't expect to get too far with them. All abilities on all robots are identical. All jump bots jump 16 meters forward. All sprint bots gain 29 kmh. However for dash bots, the bigger your bot, the shorter it dashes. All have the same cooldown times.
hat's why the sprint bots are the best. It's like a pursuer on crack I love it. Grizzly is the best Starter robot once you unlock him and Shark. Don't waste your time with other bots. Just upgrade you 150 meter rockets. L and H stand for light and heavy respectively so you won't be confused as to what bot has what type of slots.
This game is pretty good. Don't listen to the complainers on Google reviews talking about it being a knockoff of War Robots. Everyone makes copycat GoPros and some of them are actually of good quality. This is the same. If you view this game like War Robots you won't like it. You have to judge it as a new experience. Not everything can be brand new and original. Some games are similar to others. You don't play battlefield and say it's just like COD because they both have first person gun action. Each game has a style. I like this style.
In terms of upgrade times. So far, between all light heavy weapons and robots. Weapons all upgrade at the same rate in each clasee. Heavy weapons take twice as long and cost twice as much. On the contrary, all robots seem to share the same upgrade times as far as I can tell so far. Everything maxes out at level 15. In terms of firepower, most weapons I've used follow a simple forumula.
Light = 1 Heavy = 2
4 light weapons will take the same time and money to upgrade as 2 heavies. So a bot with 4 lights has the near exact damage output as one with two heavies.
Silver is also very easy to earn I repeat Silver is very easy to earn
I'm very glad to announce this lol No repair costs so you can rush in, do a ton of damage and leave the game early but meching out (if these noobs decide to shoot you that is). There doesn't seem to be a winning bonus so even if you lose, your damage is what nets you silver.
As I progress, I'm gonna comment with more insight as to what my experiences are. Oh and one last thing. Not sure if it's because i use an emulator, but whenever i leave the game window and come back in another app on the emulator, I lose sound and have to restart the app. 4/5 stars
more progress: Don't waste your time on the first premium bot (or the second really)(the ones with three and four light points) You'll get murked for a while but if you wait patiently and save gold, once you reach level 9 or 10, you unlock a sprinting bot with two heavy points called the "butcher" It looks like a mix between a rhino and a lancelot. That bot is killer with the shotguns. Shotguns are pretty strong in this game when you close the gap. Sprinting bots do the best job at that. Another tip is to upgrade your bots faster than weapons. If it's not a premium bot, don't waste your time. Until you unlock the bot with the shields, just upgrade weapons to do more damage. The weapons can be carried over to premium bots.
Speeding up upgrades with Gold isn't bad. In War Robots, it racks up fast. But in this game, it only cost about 8 gold to speed up 30 minutes. I'm sure it doesn't cost anywhere near 350 gold for a full day like War Robots currently is. Game is not extremely PTW. Premium bots yes do cost money and purchasing them allows you to use them right away. However if you save Gold daily and level up, they're all unlockable. For example, I got the butcher in about 3 hours of grinding from zero. Most people wasted their gold on the beginner premium but I was thinking long term. I've been smurfing everyone for the last 50 matches now on TDM and deathmatch. They have gold packs you can buy for certain prices, kinda like the standard for War Robots. 10 dollars gets you 1200 gold. The butcher also costs 10 dollars. The best robot in the game IMO is the titan, not the paladin. The titan is 48 dollars. There is a gold pack for 48 dollars which gives about 6,000 gold. So I can assume once you reach level 15 - which is five levels away from the butch - then you need to save 6000 gold for the titan.
It's kinda like back in the old days when you had to grind for a lancelot or fury. Just takes time. And you don't get as much gold per match so it's more about collecting daily and playing to complete the daily challenges.
There is also a loot box system (low mid and high then legendary like the superchest). You get a free bronze every hour, a free silver every 24 hours. The gold chest costs 100 gold and the legend chest you can open after you open 90 silver chests. So it doesn't reset every month. You get a gauraunteed high level item every 90 silver chests. Not sure how many points a gold chest gives you but I assume it gives you 10 credits instead of only 1 towards the legend chest. I'll find out later when I have 100 gold.
The silver chest I've opened 5 times and all 5 times i've typically gotten between 30 and 70 gold. Seems that gold has a high chance to drop from this crate which is great. No greedy unfair chances.
And the best part of all... not a single chest contains AG prizes. Only premium currencies and gear! You can preview each chest to see exactly what it drops but you don't get to see the drop rates. No prize is useless
But if you do want to buy things right away, the robot with two heavy points is only 10 dollars. A reasonable price for many gamers.
Enjoy! will be back with more updates

Another update: Found a glitch that works every game (broken) When you auto-target and enemy, even if you are behind cover you are still able to damage them when you are in range. For example, in the sprint bots, if I'm fighting another premium bot, I drain their shields with shotguns, then bum rush them as shields take a few moments to recharge, much like the shield of a carnage (some cover doesn't work... this glitch applies to mostly hills and buildings)
This applies to most non-splash weapons but shotguns are very broken at the moment so this glitch really just makes the shotguns wayyyy overpowered and they're only level 4. I can three to four shot most builds like this. Rockets are still good for splashing tall bots over buildlings, but this shotgun glitch can definitely be exploited. Will make a video showcasing this as well some time this week.
Also... whether or not you open the bronze silver or gold chests, each chest gives you one point towards the 90 point super chest reward. It is also possible to get 30 or 40 gold in the gold chest while the remaining gold prize are all 300+ Considering how hard gold is to obtain, I'd say it's better to not spend gold on the gold chest, as you might just lose profit.

Im level 18, gotten all the bots you can get via leveling, as was pointed out all the gold and RM bots have shields, none of the free bots do.
You can get one of the shield bots via gold or won via chest, but you can also buy a 2nd with RM.. unlike War Robots you can't have an entire hanger of one bot type.
I find the weapon choices very limiting.. the best weapons take gold and it's hard to come by.
silver I find hard to earn.. I can whupass and still come away with what I feel is undeservingly small amounts of silver.
The game needs more maps and more modes.. DM get's very boring and yet I get it 4 out of 5 matches.
The game is not without it's share of hackers, I've ran into 2 with infinate ammo hacks. One was a bison with short range missles that did not stop firing the entire time it was alive.. which was most of the match given the ammount of fire power it was dishing out at close range.
The match making needs work.. you're either the clubber or the seal. I thought the game was going to offer real fights but I've gotten to a point where more often than not I can just chew thru the competition in my patrol.
Also could be me but it seems like bots on the further end of the scale are stronger even when they have the same stats. I like the herc and started upgrading it but it seemed like it died faster than bots with equal stats further to the right. Im not sure if there is some sort of classification modifier or what but it's annoying.
Im currently running a butcher, watcher, and patrol, all won luckily from the chests. The game is not the oasis from War Robots I thought it might be.. at best it's a diversion.. it mimics War Robots too much and inherits some of it's worse qualties and also has problems all it's own.. not enough "fresh" there to offset it's faults.
Matches are quick, and that's about all I can say for the game.. I don't consider War Robots to be a very "indepth" game.. but it is compared to RW.
I'll keep it on tap but I guess we'll have to see if B.o.T can compete with War Robots once it's out of beta.

snipped Perfectly said. I haven't won anything from the chest yet, but I was smart enough to not speed-spend my gold on upgrades or the first gold robot because I knew it was gonna be trash later. I got the watcher and the butcher. The watcher I put the 150m missles all level 5 and the butcher my shotguns were both lvl 4.
Once I got to about 100 wins I realized the MM is very lopsided. I'm pretty sure there are so few players (US server) that some robots that dropped in were actually bots. And I say this because whenever I play TDM, for some reason, most of the bots act like the robots in War Robots when you first start playing. They all sit around not really shooting each other much, but they all FOCUS you as soon as you hit line of sight. At first I thought it was a noob playerbase, but after seeing the same bot setups over and over again, and doing the same consistent damage with the watcher (one burst kills on heavy robots), I knew it had to be bots.
Close range rockets are the best aside from shotguns. I've taken out so many bots on deatchmatch by firing over the building or hill.
And yes silver and experience earnings need to be reworked. No matter how good I do, I always seem to earn 440 experience at a time. And depending on how much damage I did, I usually get between 35k (normal games) to 60k silver (massacres on deathmatch)
At the moment I feel like the weapon prices are too high for gold weapons. 1200 for one plasma gun or heavy rocket? And on top of that, most endgame robots, premium or not need 3-5 of these weapons. A patrol for example costs = about 6k gold, and if you wanted the close or long range plasma I believe it's 1200 per gun x 6 of them. so thats 7200 for a weapon set for the patrol. 3600 for a titan. If gold were more available to earn, sure... maybe lol
Currently game is barebones but it's enough content to keep you going for a while. Needs more variety in weapons and firing mechanics as most weapons are point and shoot or point and auto-fire. Also shotguns are crazy powerful even at max range and I'm going to abuse the hell out of them until they're spread gets nerfed because 4 shotting someone from 200 meters is epic xD
I'm also playing this game as a means to wait out time for B.O.T.
