It's just more deceit. Stuff is 15% cheaper to buy but 30% more to upgrade. Just misleading strategies of the worst kind.
I will not be getting any new gear except what the workshop gives me. That's a 「fluffernutter」in promise.

"Almost all components are 3-4x easier to acquire."
My question when I first read this was -- and now that they've implemented it still is -- 3-4x easier than what?!?

That's a ?fluffernutter?in promise. The Workshop isn’t GIVING you anything: that’s 240,000 Ag every day. Are you getting that much Ag from spins? How much is your current average upgrade cost? It’s just another unnecessary hamster wheel. The game is so much more fun without all that.

Ya. Any more mechanics and they should rename the game to Admin Robots. I spend as much time on housekeeping as I do on daily tasks.

I don't understand the claims that these bots did not get cheaper. Deals on component bots that were $100 to $300 rm I am seeing are now $30 to $75, usually fully loaded with weapons and sometimes with a paint job. Seems like they hugely dropped the price of the gear and increased the Ag cost about 20 percent. What blows up the cost is when you level stuff up to 12 Mk2. If you take bots to 9 and weapons to 10-12, you should not have a problem staying current in the meta if you are a regular player. That's good enough to play in M or C league on most devices. What am I missing? 20%? You are missing A LOT. For some items, the increase is well over 200%! The Bulgasari, for example, took around 60 M and 20 days to be maxed (Mk1 of course). Now you need 198 M Silver and 65 days to do the same thing. 20%...lol

Pixonic has clearly recognized the colossal pit of dog poop they dug themselves into with the dash and descend bots. They probably thought this would lead to exciting games but in reality it leads to long drawn out games of cowering robots waiting for god-bots to slip up and get greedy. So their only option was to inflate their future costs. They can’t really “balance” paid weapons. Because this leads to refunds. Because they violate AppStore terms of service ... So they are faced with mass refunds if they nerf. What they can do however is balance future costs. You can bet they didn’t lower costs of certain robots or items. I’m guessing that anything that was considered overpowered didn’t get “discounted” And there’s your answer as to what’s actually good in the current meta

And what about tankers who already have everything? They're going to tank and club forever, because new players will never improve their hangars anymore and get out of the tanking zone.

Good. Taran is one of the most broken weapons in the game for the obscene damage over time it does. Hopefully they did worse to the orkan The point isn't the weapon itself it's the overall way they are destroying the game. And Orkans have already been stealth nerfed and now this 「dookie」. Glad I bought heaps of Orks before this crap only to have them nerfed

No seems their intent is to choke supply, let existIng bot population die off through attrition (players move on) Anyone left who wants to play them in higher leagues has to pay the full price to use them or get good at free bots. Given their options, it’s not a bad play.

What am I missing? Bots are only less expensive from the standpoint of “book” price: total cost of ownership (TCO) tells a completely different story. The increased upgrade and speed-up fees are an additional cost to the purchase price, and very real. Likewise with the new extreme upgrade times; in a vehicle, that would be time spent off the road, unavailable for use, but being unable to compete on the field is an equivalent extra burden of inconvenience and qualifies as a cost of ownership. The end result is that equipment has become far more expensive, regardless of acquisition cost. Not only that, but the job you had to pay for that vehicle and total cost of ownership just announced they were cutting your wages by 20% which makes it even more expensive.

There really is no point other than lining up and hitting the red button to see who wins based on boosts and money 2 gear. As a mech warrior fan from the 90s. I still play this game. After the last two updates they will receive zero real money’s from me now on. Never seen a company want to destroy itself so fast before. Too bad. It was the best mobile game available. Stupid Russian company.

I think the stalker got the biggest hike, time to upgrade dropped by 1/10th But a post-hike lv12mk2 stalker costs more than entire hanger full of pre-hike lv12mk1's and with like 45m in change left over.
Kreb's chart says it went up 287% silver cost. 16.5 vs 64m silver for lv12mk1

What's also sad is that, if you had 200 mil saved up before the economy changes, it's now almost worthless. Back then it wasn't. Is this new economy change an example of hyperinflation?!?!

It's not useless if you also had a lot of pre-hike gear that needed upgrading.. post-hike gear.. ya you're a pauper.

This economy should be implemented by Pixonic much earlier. Russians devs are either stupid, or not that deeply pocketed as their counterparts in US/China.dont have to bite and switch, just put it straight in player faces. F2P will not pay either way. Wallet warriors are the the drivers of all this gaming industry. And they will pay to be the "best". Came here after years of playing stragegies and was pleasantly surprised. Its 「fluffernutter」ing cheap to play here and have fun. Want a primer example of money milking in mobile game? Look no further than Game Of War. 400-500 YEARS upgrade time, and one of my alliance member spent 15k$ overnight for a samurai gear set (which can last about 2 weeks as top gears). Dont pay? STFU and try to enjoy your league. Nothing wrong with that. Peace out
P/S I wonder why they didnt implement Global Chat in this game. Great way for those big egos to figure out who has bigger d**k. That a sure way to get some more sales

Honestly, I feel like the greed sprouts from the community growth.
Back then, when "Walking" was in the title, when Pixonic made ads, when Components weren't a thing, when Griffin wasn't an instant death, when Schutze was buyable, and when Zenoricum Natashas was an unpopuoar strategy, not many people played the game. I was one of the few who did, and I don't remember much greed. It was just a decent quality game about walking war robots shooting each other. Sure, the gold prices weren't that reasonable, but there were no components or tokens, just Silver and Gold.
Compare that to now, where there are over 50 million people playing, and Pixonic wants you to drop 100 dollars for a virtual death laser.

I think it was just a typo on pix’s part and they meant 300% longer to upgrade not 30%
