I am still amazed and flabbergasted at the number of players that still can't grasp the concept of King of the Hill and will ignore getting the beacons and just focus on trying to get kills !
Kills don't win KOTH matches guys Getting and Holding the ACTIVE beacons does , i have lost so many matches because it seems i am the only player on my team that understands KOTH but alone i can't capture and hold enough beacons to win yes we kill off most of the red team but what is the point of finishing the match with 5 or 6 bots to the reds 1 or 2 if the reds hold all the beacons and win the match FFS wake the Fook up guys and focus on the mode your playing kills mean nothing in KOTH.

Center beacon matters, especially who gets it first is able to control it. Doing this requires continuous pressure and killing bots. Losing this game mode is a sure thing if the pressure isn't continuously high on the center area.
It is a given that the other beacons will go to the nearest sides, most of the time. Just get out of the beacon circle once it turns blue (most of the time, there are exceptions). Most of the time, draining the beacon points quickly is harmful. Do this so your team has time to navigate and especially help maintain control of the center beacon area. This is something I've recently learned.

Yes getting the central beacon first is important but my issue is about the number of idiot players that fail to take the near side active beacons even when they are stood just outside the white circle instead they go chasing some bot thats also not focussing on beacons but trying to get kills , kills will come with defending the active anyway but most of the time my teams seems to go running off in the other direction or tries to capture a beacon that has just finished as for this tidbit "Kills absolutely win KOTH matches, especially Master or Champions League." kills will not win you any trophies, gold or honor points if you lose the match because the other team captured and held the active beacon more often and longer than your team the only way you can win with kills is if you kill all of the other team and unless your fighting complete noobs 2 or 3 leagues below your team thats not going to happen !!

Also, in addition to what @earlcampbell said, I don't want to play KotH. Killing bots is my reason for playing... not babysitting beacons. If I could skip KotH, you wouldn't have to worry about me (and players like me who don't want to play KotH) messing up the game. I don't intentionally sabotage games... but I don't care about the capture points. I just play. Flanking and killing bots doesn't get points... true, but it's why I spend my time playing the game. Well, spent. Can't say I've been playing since boosts came out on either platform. So, maybe my opinion doesn't even matter. *shrugs*
