Hey Fellow Forum Folders!
Did you see that excellent thread started by zer00eyz a couple of days ago?
I was working on my own comments to it when personal matters pulled me away, so I kept my spare tablet (the one whose screen I cracked playing this game) plugged in and signed in.
Was trying to get a couple games of DOM in on my gaming tablet and after getting 1, followed by the "opportunity " to play TDM 5 times in a row, decided to fork the game off and check the forums.
The thread entitled "An Open Letter to Pixonic and the Players of War Robots. " by zer00eyz was well on it's way to a 3rd page when I last checked.
In it zer00eyz laid out the argument for a positively toned campaign to bring back Players Choice vs Chance and a Game based on Skill vs Power.
Like Most of His Threads, it was Thoughtful and Well Written, Addressing Core Issues of the Game
and the Pix/Player Relationship that Everyone from the Devs, Content Developers and Players New and
Old would do well to consider.
I fully expected it to be on it's 6th or 7th page by now and yet it appears to have "vanished "

Maybe what is needed is a sticky "how use the search option." That would be a good idea. Then we'll need a "how to find sticky threads" thread, which will need to be stickied itself, because some people don't understand what a "sticky" thread means. Lol. |

The description of which reads- "Have a question about War Robots or need tips on your hangar? This board is for you!"
I'm almost speechless. ALMOST.
YOU GOTTA BE YANKIN MY CHAIN.
Aside from the fact that the thread has absolutely nothing to do with hangars or how to play the Game, what possible reason would there be to move it from the general discussion board? Can somebody please explain that to me (and everyone else)?
And why would I have to use a search function for a thread that was already going on to it's 3rd page and whose subject was about the overall direction of the game??

Besides usually when a thread is moved that is getting responses the title bar remains with a highlighted note that says
"This thread has been moved to ..."
What happened there?

I'd sure hate to think that the thread was moved to keep it off the front page. I mean, most seasoned players aren't looking for hangar advice and most noobs would probably get bored and quit reading it as it contains nothing about hangars or gameplay..
I encourage everyone reading this to check it out.

Not sure why the thread's in Tips & Advice, I've moved it to General Discussion.
Edit: It seems like the mod moved it by accident. I've looked through the security logs and he moved it with along with several other boards that were supposed to be moved to tips and advice, which means that it was most likely a misclick.

Just wanted to thank strayed for putting the thread back where it belonged. Zer00eyz did an excellent job of outlining a strategy to positively affect the course of the Game for those that are concerned about its present state and future. If you think it's a good and going in the right direction then good for you. Enjoy.
I personally think that PIX is bit by bit sacrificing the best parts of the Game for a buck. Yet I still find time to enjoy the game myself while I can.
I apologize to the MODS for the accusatory tone of my follow up messages to this thread. How ironic that the subject of this thread was mis-placed as I was writing about PIX's intention to Spend marketing capital to buy influence on social media, Such as this. To make matters worse, I didn't consider that here in the states it was a holiday weekend and that you guys might not be as available. That occurred to me as I myself got swept away by family/holiday related issues.
I should have waited for a response before prodding for one.
