I have been knocking on the door of the C league, with still-classical hangars (hangars in the signature). And the qualification has been more and more sinister. There is a clear difference between a match before the qualification and the actual qualifications. And as soon as you slip below the 5,000 mark, you have to start again. Since it is seemingly getting harder in each attempt, I decided to record those failures. In the first attempt, I met three full-Champ squads in a row as opponents, survived the first one but slippe away with the following consecutive -17s. In the second attempt, I was doing the best thanks to the "BR weekend," but slipped at the fourth qualification match. This has been the closest so far. In the third attempt earlier today, I lost two KotH battles while scoring the best (hence keep advancing), and then lost all of them again when I met a lot of Spectres in Powerplant and ended up -22. ... The fourth attempt met the most sinister opposition In the first qualification, I was teamed with a squad including players from champ to gold leagues, against a four-champ squad. I survived it by scoring the most damage. Then, in the second match, this was what I saw as soon as the battle screen popped up: Yes, I was inserted as a fill-in, 30 seconds after the match began, against none other than a full-CDxx squad At first, I tried to find a way to somehow contribute to the win, but everything blue was in disarray already. I tried to find a blue beacon to at least score some capture points, but there was none. This was the last scene my last living bot saw: Okay, rant over. Back to the attempt #5,

You missed the most obvious qualification: $$$. Very difficult to get there without it; but the fact that you're knocking on the door with that hangar speaks volumes about your skills. It's weaker than mine, and I can't get out of Expert (though that's partially due to an absolute lack of trying any more). Anyway -- a sincere best of luck to you in your quest. Hopefully each time you try you learn something new that will help you get further the next time.

Also ask for foreplay in advance for next time lol ??

Must be an iOS thing. I breezed through my champions qualification on Android winning 4 out of 5 running solo. Qualified with 5044 points. Didn't see any whale clans. But I don't run legacy bots, maybe this is Pixonics way of telling you to get some component bots... (not 100% joking here)
Keep plugging away, you can't keep drawing full whale clans every time you try to qualify. I hope.

Best of luck, sir. I'm having trouble staying in Android E3 for more than a few days. It might be a week or two, then back down to D1. And earning Honor Points? Hitting the prize plateaus is pretty difficult when you're doing it two to three Honor Points at a time. Not always that way, but it's more often than I'd like.

The fifth attempt was short-lived. A KotH match against a full-champ squad from this time the HEAT clan, again a lot of flying Spectres. An example. I tried to cap the home beacon and there were at least three Spectres (maybe one was Inquisitor, not clear) jumping on me: I learned sth: when met CDxx-like clans in a small map KotH and the blue team is in disarray, don’t try to fight at all. Just try to score ANY beacon capture point by playing hide-and-seek.

I qualified on the second attempt. Overall, it was really easier than expected. I must say though, I probably would not qualify even for gold with your hangar.
Those battles against top clans are really crazy. I faced the Chinese one that’s currently ranked #1 a couple of times and only won once because they didn’t figure out koth.
Even In champion league lots of players have no clue what to do in koth..while I slowly walk my ancilot towards the thin white beacon..

WTH?! If that's what one can look forward to in Champions, you can have it. I'll be happy to stay at E3/D1.

Same thing with Andriod. There's always couple rigged games.
I liked the DB rhino vs PDB. My .02 cents

Right there with you brother. We even had a match together today. I was the bottom guy on the winning side and you were on the red team. It is hard with a legacy hanger, but I went back into Champion today thanks to KOTH believe it or not. Four of my qualifying matches were in this mode. While the whales were fighting amongst themselves I went for capture points. I should be able to field my first Haechi and Bulgasari in the next two weeks, and hopefully Inquisitor in the next month.

I think there is a better chance against a full-champ squad in a KotH match, when the map is larger. I also once had this exciting win against a Champ squad in CN, although it was not really won by me. In smaller maps, Spectres are too dominating in KotH matches. Even if they made a mistake, they can correct it in no time due to the superior ground speed + jump. And when they are in multiples, harder to deal with. Btw have you tried squadding? Unfortunately, I am the highest leaguer in my clan Haven't tried doing squads with Champ leaguers. Would like to try it by myself at first,

Okay, I see you now in the battle result screenshot. That was the match I lost all the points earned from the previous two KotH games. We once had five beacons on our side so I thought we would win. Then there were a couple MkII Spectres who quickly turned the tide. I played a bit too aggressive in that one thinking that we were winning :/ Anyways, hope to meet again, preferably in the same team

Btw have you tried squadding? On iOS squadding is the best way to not even have the chance to qualify for Champions League, unless you are in a whale clan of course. When you squad, you face top clans almost 100% of the time and you lose almost 100% of the time. inspirace: I understand your feelings. I've been around 5000 points for a while now, and it's really bad. The game is extremely unbalanced right now.

Well, you could squad up with 5 buddies that don't mind taking last place. That way you'll be on top and get +8 guaranteed.
However it took me 5+ times before I got in.
You'll be going back and forth for sometime, but it feels pretty good once you break through.

So if a full squad was lost, then everyone in the squad would get some equal minus points. Was it not the case? Don't remember when was the last time I did a squad so I might be wrong,

You'll be going back and forth for sometime, but it feels pretty good once you break through. When you lose, the entire squad lose the same amount of League points and the same happens when you win: League points are equally divided among all squadmates, so it's not useful if you are not in a top squad.

Just got out of playing in a fun solo random match. Looked at a few players from both teams after and saw this guy. This forum post made me look closer at the possible scenario for this particular player. Not 100% sure if he was in the qualifying process or not but I’m assuming he was looking at his rating after their loss. You can see he’s right at the cutoff and below 5k now. Checked his other teammates and saw 3 champs, and 2 other master players. My side had only 1 master player and we were all champs if I recall correctly. We weren’t a full whale squad like what some of you are experiencing, but maybe there is something to the matchmaking that makes it tougher. Who knows. Could also be just bad luck and completely random ??

Glad you posted this inspirace, I specially checked your posts to see if you made Champs over the weekend.
Sorry you haven't bro! I'm sitting around 4900 and getting whupped. My highest was 4986 and then just crazy games down almost 4800. Its just crazy, my win rate has to 38% and then I get easier games. My win rate is now 58%, my league points 4977 and I just know I'm gonna start getting matched in those crazy games again.
Some of the games against Champs and Champ squads are ridiculous! I did 535k damage in a game and got -22. Every body else in did over 650k and we lost. I did just 135k at Moon and meched out - my Lance didn't even fire a shot and he got wiped out by Shttrains!
Master1 is like a eat-as-much-as-you-like buffet for Champs and I have no doubt that MM guards the door into Champs at qualification games!
Thing is that so many whale it they barely notice. If I check out the players in Masters1 there are a lot of players with F2P hangars, stats where you can see there's no cr@p and they've just been doing it the hard way. Drop a Spectre and an Ember Inquisitor in any of them and through they'd go to Champs. When I check out Champ profile and the guys Mk1, I got respect.
So let us know when you crack it. The forum is rooting for you!

If you can manage to have a low win rate before you enter into 5000, there's a much better chance you'll get MM towards the winning side. .02 cents

Does anyone feel the change in MM? It is a bit different. Can't put my finger on it exactly, but the winning and losing sprees have come back. They went away for a while and now they are back. I guess right after 3.7 hit. Having my ratio at 26% atm. Never seen it below 32 before.

Yep, I get streaks both ways, pretty much been this way for a long time...e.g. 5-10 win, 5-10 lose.
Events are crazy, so never mind all that...

What followed immediately was 5 losses and back into Master 1. My win rate fell to 26% before rebounding. I went back into Champ yesterday with a 48% win rate and have won all 4 games that I have played today. I thought the same as you before about entering on a low rate, but now I’m not sure it matters. I don’t let it bother me anymore after quiting in November at 18% in Master 3. I immediately went to Master 1 when I came back and have been in and out of Champ six times in the last few weeks. Sometimes you are the boot...Sometimes the bug.

However I spend most of my time below 50% and have actually had it as low as 11%. I even saw one Champion whose win rate was 7%.
