I started playing about 2.5 months ago, the first half month I spent the free advertisement rolls "ad voucher" on speeding up my upgrades. At the beginning of the following month after the black market reset I started pushing all my ad vouchers into the bronze chests, and saving my keys. Since I don't use my keys, it took a ton of time for the progress bar to inch towards the superchest but I managed to get it with 3 or 4 days to spare. The chest awarded me 12k hover components. Since being new, I was like ok cool, a new bot, I'll take it. The following month after that, which brings us to the most current black market + event, I've been grinding away again saving my keys just like last time. I've been trying to complete the event tasks, and as such, been playing more games than usual so as of today I reached the superchest with 7 days to spare. I rolled another [m o d e r a t e d] 12k hover component. Are you serious?? [m o d e r a t e d]Has this happened to any of you? I know this game is rigged to hell, but come on. Not to mention majority of my bronze chests are nothing but bits of keys, Ag, Au, storm components, gust components and MORE hover components. I think PIX is secretly aiming for me to:  (not my hangar btw, just pulled picture off the web but you get the point) |

Yeah, I got a Zeus and hover from 2 super chests then I quit grinding for the super chest

best you can do is to keep the components and trade them for other components if this feature ever makes it.
Or sell the componentes for silver
Imagine having payed 100ets of $$ to buy keys ...

Even with the SC, the key is to expect very little. That's why I almost exclusively spin bronze. I expect nothing useful, and i almost always get it. Every now and then I get a nice surprise.

Yesterday, I got a Carnage from a bronze key. It sells at 1.1m silver or so, so that's fine. Mostly bronze keys are garbage. But it's free so it's better than nothing. |

maverick I guess he expected something more, after all if you grind for something like that you would expect to get something you want. Precisely. I mean, within weeks of playing this game and from this forum and other things I had a pretty good idea of how low to set my expectations. But even then I just had that little hope, but nooppeee. And honestly I was pretty open to just about anything, it was the fact that I got the same reward as the first time. Just left disappointed, but I guess for a lot of us that's the norm with this game unless you have deep pockets. |

I'm not really complaining about receiving free stuff, except for the free stuff that isn't really free because I have to grind for it, and so much of it is crap I don't want. But I did just land a Kumiho yesterday that I didn't pay a dime for, and a day before that a Bulgasaurus and three Scourges that I only bought a little bit of Au to help the acquiring of decent offers. It's stuff that I would have had to pay a bundle for if I'd bought it all outright. But there's also the piles of components of stuff I don't want that I really wish I could either target at or trade for stuff that I do want -- or at this point just trade for silver that I even more desperately need with all this lvl 1 gear I'm now in possession of and can't use until it's leveled up significantly. And the Haechi I've been running for awhile was acquired in no small part with help from 3000 components from a super chest, so there's that, too.
So now that I'm out of acquisition mode and into upgrade mode for awhile, my only complaint is the inordinate amount of time and silver it's gonna take before all this cool new stuff is usable. A time machine and a crap-ton of silver (about a billion or so should do me) in the next super chest would be really nice right about now. So how 'bout it Pix? I might even stop ?female dog?ing about Random mode if you help me out here. For a little while. Maybe. What I gotta do, start a War Robots blog or something?!!?

Superchests are not free, daily drops are free. It's a lot of work to grind for the superchest, especially when I can't avoid playing TDM eventhough I don't want to play TDM. On average 7 out of 10 matches I dropped into are TDM. I need around 700 games to get the bar to the end, including free keys, that's around 490 TDM matches I am forced to play to get the SC. 490 frustrating matches to get my fifth Zeus or third Hover is not worth it.

Won 3 Bulgasaris with bronze chests back when they were new. I didn't want the first two but the Ag was a welcome bonus for upgrading. I kept the third in the hope that I wouldn't be getting another and that's worked out so far. But it's all free so it's all good. ?

You play the game anyway, so it's free. if you are grinding out superchests and not enjoying it... stop. NOWHERE is there a notice saying "This is a game of chance but you will absolutely get what you want!" It's a game of chance and it's an EXTRA in this game and TOTALLY optional. Understand that you will have to open a LOT of them to get what you want so your expectations are not unreasonably high. |

So i'm a relatively new player, and got all excited about saving 1000 keys for a big chest!! My reward was 700 keys.
I'd be really pissed if I paid money for the keys, so I not really complaining. But getting less keys by spending more keys isn't really a reward. It's a punishment. I can write one line of code that could fix the "less keys as a reward than you spend" issue... wonder why pixonic can't do this?
The question is rhetorical, but all the same. Not sure why they allow that to happen. So now I have 4 days to come up with 300 more keys... And with my work schedule, it will most likely be impossible. So with this punishment, along with the constant tankers who make every other match no fun... might be another game for the dustbin.
