Hello everyone! I'm about to get a Kumiho, so I was wondering which weapons would be bst on a Kumiho, besides Shocktrains. NOTE -I have 1 scourge, saving up for another one -I can take the orkans off my DB Griffin if I need to -I can put the Tarans from my PDB Griffin onto the Kumiho, and replace those Tarans with my Tarans from my Hover. Anything helps! Thanks!

Depends on your skills to operate the bot , kumiho is fragile so for me it only works orcans , fire and run away , fire and hide , I saw people running tarans but they are skilled , you have to move constantly so the adversary don't hit you , doesn't work for me

I like Orks and Storms personally... Vortex may be good for some situations... or the new Ion...

First off, give yourself some time to learn how to play the bot. You'll probably be disappointed at first. It took me roughly 50 matches to really start playing it well. Second, both orkans/tarans are viable builds. In expert, orkans might be better. I owned the kumiho while I climbed from expert to champion, and eventually I found the taran build to be more viable for my playstyle, whereas 2 lvl 12 orkans (don't have them mk2) couldn't unload enough dmg in one 4.5 sec salvo for me to find them worthwhile. Also, some people have mentioned that the Kumiho has low hp... I leveled mine to 12, and at 12 it has 150hp, roughly identical to my lvl 11 Griffin. And the hp is the same as the Haechi after the nerf. If you are going up against lots of Haechi Orkan, the Taran Kumiho is the perfect counter. Against any DB setup, with the dashes and tarans you can either miss most of their fire, and keep firing sustained dmg with the tarans. That was my biggest issue with the orkans. Sometimes even if cover was available, I'd have to stay in an engagement to prevent a beacon from being stolen, etc, and the diminished fire after the orkan salvo was emptied was a liability. But ultimately it's what you play well. With the orkans its fun to dash into an ancilot and destory them, probably losing 50-80% of your own hp depending upon the situation. If you are still seeing lots of carnages in your league (zeus or thunder) the tarans are better still for bypassing the shield. I'm sure you will have lots of fun with the kumiho when you get it, but again give yourself time to master it, and definitely lvl it as much as you can. Also make use of the weapon placement being on the top, there are lots of areas where you can use terrain or walls to protect you while still shooting over them. Hope that helps

Tarans or orks. I have experimented early on with both setups but have been running tarans for a very long time and never looked back. Its almost an identical situation as I had with my Rog. Ork haechies and Ork kumies will hate you :-)
Most in the clan run it and prefer to run it with orks even after trying tarans.
One thing tho is to level those weapons really high. High as you can.

Btw tarans also gives a extra 50 meter range so when your in danger you will have less distance to cover.

I run my two kumi with storms and orkans, I did a lot of vortex too, speed allows you to change position quickly and attack from unexpected places but not good against other dashes. My vortex are on a doc as 4 are better than 2, if the dash misses the first launch I have another one ready for when they trot

If you want to harass... go Scourge or ST. The annoying thing about Scourge on a Kumiho is losing the lock because of the dash... especially close range.

After Orkans I think meta shifted to Pulsar. Kumiho is getting outplayed at brawling.
Now that you can choose your games Kumiho is either central to your hangar or not required at all.

Pulsar may very well eclipse Scourge.... I'm not certain yet, but I'm certainly building some to try phase in to a Bulg/Scourge build and if I think things are getting better I mihgt go all the way. But the way I use my Kumiho I need the dump... and that requires Orkan (splash) or Storm (keeps shooting)...

At the end of the day, Kumiho is pretty similar to Rogatka and I can't say I'd run either over a Pursuer, Hover or Hellburner.

Kumiho > Rog
I am saying that as someone who loves the Rog. I wish it jumped like a Spectre and had a light point like the Hover.
If you really wanted to make Rog cool give it 2 types of jump... one high, one forward.
