So now that the new event has begun the tankers are shedding their nerfed hangars, installing their most powerful Mechs and actually starting piloting to the best of their abilities; presumably to get through the event challenges as efficiently as they can to the detriment of all us honest/noob pilots. I just got my 「bum-bum」 kicked in less than 2 minutes. .... all five of my Mechs destroyed by weaponry capable of turning my robots into scrap metal in 1 or 2 hits. I lost my first 3 to a cocktrain Bulgasari in less than a minute! This is my Hangar. And this was the seal clubbers hangar - clearly a more experienced pilot fielding superior equipment for the league level. This was not the only overpowered hangar either. I am currently and legitimately fielding the best harware I own and playing it to the best of my current ability and playing in gold II as of this morning. That dude should be many leagues higher. Can we expect to be clubbed to death or have our chance at earning in-game rewards robbed from us on every other game until the event is over?

I just had a similar experience. Unless and until Pixonic takes EFFECTIVE ACTION to curb T/C, this will continue, sadly.

To bad there's no in game messaging function.
Then we could mercilessly taunt them until they developed an eating disorder.

It will only get worse for the next week at least until the clubbers get what they want and/or the leagues even out slightly with the reduction in beacon tasks as they rise back up from kills and wins tasks. In the meantime, look on the bright side, at least you get to see how all of the top gear works on the live server

I made a post explained. They will be there forever till Haechi is in pocket.

I'm just gonna focus on playing minimum 6 games a day. That's because 6 ads is usually enough to fast track the daily tasks and get my 60-70 gold. Can't wait for this stupid event to be over. I wish there was a separate event mode or something where people who wish to participate and get yet another free magnum can go play with themselves!

Pix should pull the plug early. I haven't looked. Do we have the promised "report player" button?

I think there is frustration all around. My friend who's been playing for over 2 years now, has been in Champs league for quite some time. He used to dominate with griff/lance hangar before the dash bots.
He payed occasionally for gold to speed up upgrades, etc, and paid for premium too. But even now, months after the release of the dash bots (forget the OP releases after [Inquisitor/spectre]), he still doesn't have a dash bot, b/c he refuses to pay and isn't able to grind the tasks.
A friend of his on a top clan heard of a member paying $7,500 in this game - to purchase robots and upgrade them to MK2.
So how does a non-paying player compete with that?
When Pix runs these events, the final prize isn't in reach even if you play 3 hours a day. So non-paying players get desperate and hack the system to make it easier (which only screws lower leagued players).
But if there wasn't $300 bots, or people actually willing to buy them, then they could make the bots more accessible and seal clubbing wouldn't become an attractive option for so many.
Pix put out an experiment with the Butch being an expensive bot, and players paid. Then came the dash at a ludicrous valuation... people still paid. It's unfortunate that Pix has such a steady and reliable strategy for making money and in turn making the game very frustrating for non pay-to-win players.
I just ran into the same thing just moments ago where I was needing "wins" and I had players destroying themselves to keep their league points low. Very sad and frustrating indeed.

This goes some way to explaining the motivations of some tankers; they aren't all doing it just to ruin the game for lower league players or for simple greed. Pix, or more acurately, their parent company are a bunch of charlitans who are exploiting gamers in order to farm hard earned RM: talk about a cash cow that just keeps giving. It's all about the money. ... and the gamers are the real comodity because the industry makes it's fortunes off of us and sells our attention to advertisers too snd sets up a mechanism by which we are compelled to watch them.

The motivation of tankers is....to not have to pay to get another Haechi... The fastest most effective way to do this is to avoid players who are equal or greater in strength. So if you tank, you can blow through the tasks in a couple of days, also taking all the rewards of being on top with you. From what I understand in IOS, is silver is full of ex-champ league players. Who would be able to get back to champ in a few hours. Anyhow, thats why.

The start of the event is the hardest time for seals as all the clubbers have taken position low down in the league and were awaiting the season to start.
So what you are seeing is the oversaturation at the moment at one particular level. They probably also squadded up to get the wins over and done with asap. As per @f-A-H-Q the well equipped clubbers will make a huge dint in the chain very quickly (within a week) and start raising up and disappearing out of sight. They will also yoyo up and down which will dilute their concentration.
