We see plenty of bizarre setups. So,e more bizarre than others. Noricum Zenit for instance, ahem. But I digress. Anyone who reads Dr Wheryat know he like to mix weapon types and weapon ranges. Today I saw this: He likes to have one of everything. But I guess it's all more or less the same range. Then I saw this guy and thought 「whiskey tango foxtrot」? It was the Griffin that caught my eye. Noricum/Taran. Considering the Taran is 350 and the Noricum is useless under 300, it just looks wrong. Then again, so is his hanger. The Golem is OK but the other Griff is just as bad, if not worse.

I've seen some interesting setups, some more useful than others.
And what is up with the noricums and zeniths lately? I've seen like 3 users in the past 5 games including a zenith fury.

The crack about Zenith/Noricum was just a joke. There is much debate on the ineffective use of artillery platforms around here.

I'm beginning to think that I'm using weird setup, 2 Orkans + 2 pins on Griffin. Couple of times I noticed that when I jump and try to hit somebody who is well in range the orkans hit home but pins fire at some far away imaginary target.

weapon combos is one of my primary measures of evaluating a new clan member. If they have dumb stuff, I deny their application. Sorry, but I don't want to play with a zenit ember butch.

The trident carnage isn't THAT weird, unless you are in all DIESS team league or something. I probably wouldn't ever use it (though actually I might at least once as result of reasoning this post out). My thinking would be if you are tired of wrestling with a trident pin natasha... slow movement, half the time you aren't hitting anything with your pin because there's a zeus or RDB keeping you in wasted pin range. So you go to spirals because screw it, at least it's additional damage as low as the addition is. Then you go molots, etc... finally you are just like whatever, if I throw this on a carnage I can actually move in and out of range/605 so the trident hits anyway, zeus and RDB definitely can't get me now. At the point you are sick of messing around with light hard points, I can see why you would run a trident carnage instead . That's only a little weird. Makes sense even if any Natasha exacerbation is involved in the decision.
