Would like your opinion on my hangar

Hello Landy, I don’t think you can reach Champion with this hangar because it is too low level. Anyway, the Kumiho and the Haechi are very good as they are. I would put Tarans on the Bulgasari because this bot works at its best with them, and you lack energy weapons. I would also replace the Thunder Carnage with a midranger, like a Zeus Fury: if you don’t have a Fury, you can put 2 Zeus on the Carnage. You can keep your Doc if you have fun with it, although it’s no so effective in Master and Champion, but considering that you already have other meta robots you can keep a fun bot in.

So, you hangar should look like this:

- Orkan Kumiho
- Orkan Haechi
- Taran Bulgasari
- Orkan Doc (if you don’t have another Dash Bot, you can replace it with a Taran Ancilot if you want)
- Zeus Fury

Of course you have to keep levelling your stuff. With everything at level 10 (at least) you could be promoted to Champions.

I never thought I'd say this but.... too many orkans. You need at least one bot with energy weapons. Doc is probably not best as an all orkan build. Try Storms and Shocktrains on it.

Some good advice above. I’ll toss in my two cents, for what it’s worth.

I think you need to do a little bit of transition planning. You have put a lot of resources into build which will no doubt help you get towards your goal, but will become increasingly less viable as you reach it. The ‘wall’ has moved recently to up around the 5k league points mark. So what will work to help you get there might not work once you have hit it and are being fired in with the current meta in champs.

On a few of the easy specifics:

- you Orkan Haechi is fine, leave as is.
- the Kumiho is fine at 9 for a while, but those Orkans you have on it need to go up a lot to be of any use against higher level bots, at the moment they won’t even take the paint of a mk2 bot.
- the Bulgarasi is going to be one of you most important bots. 9 is ok for the moment, but you will want get a level or two on it before you start facing off against 6 red champs.
- you really need more plasma in the hanger. The Bulgarasi is the best platform for it, try and get three Tarans on it. You probably still need more plasma, but come back to that later.

Some of the harder choices:
- How are you with the carnage and the doc? You have them maxed, so at the moment they are no doubt fairly effective in comparison to some of you other bots. They will certainly help you progress in the short term, the question is will they work for you in champs? You do see them running in champs, but they are relatively rare and not in the current meta. You really do have to pilot them exceptionally well to make them work. As you progress and some of you other builds become stronger think around how they work for you and if long term you think they need to be replaced. For example the maxed thunder carnage must be good at the moment, certainly would not suggest changing it in the short term, but might be run better as a mid ranger when you get further along.
- You don’t have any mid range. Not saying you should, but have a good think about why? If you have ran mid range in the past and have made the decision to focus on short range builds, then fine, plenty have made that call (did it myself for a spell until I got cheattrains). If you have just never tried it, then it is worth considering, even just for a period until you have grown out the hanger. The doc and the carnage can both be converted to solid mid rangers in the interim with Tulu’s and Zeus respectively.
- regardless of your long term plans for the doc, the mix of levels you have with those Orkan, mean it’s certainly not as effective as it could be. It might be worth thinking about other options.
- what else do you have in storage? Worth posting anything else you have that is somewhat meta. For example, if you have the makings of an ancilot, levelled punisher T’s, energy weopns etc, all that would give a variety of possible options.
- You do have too many Orkans, well too many low level ones at the very least. Higher level hanger have a least a 50/50 Orkan plasma mix, if not tending more to the plasma at this point.

Anyway, sorry for rambling a bit. If you give some idea on what is currently working well for you, what you have in storage and most importantly what you want the hanger composition to look like down the road, then I am sure folk can give some more options.

What you guys have said is really interesting.  I will have to look at energy weapons in the future.  The Carnage and Doc are not as effective as they were in the lower leagues, especially the Carnage now.  I used to be able to run over people in it before as they came toward me 1 by 1, but now they are starting to range me and not let me get close anymore.  Not just 1 person but the whole team is cognizant of my proximity and now I just end up rushing at them as they jump away and blast me with plasma. 

The Doc is still okay to use as it has more range.  The Haechi is working well for me as it does for most people.  The Carnage is hit or miss depending if people are sleeping on it or not.  The Kumi is a great beacon capper for me and I like using it.  The Bulgogi is my least favorite Dash bot.  I guess its the wrong weapon but I have been trying to dash into range, unload the Orkans and turn the shield as I retreat to safety.  How do you use Tarans if it is constant fire and the shield is not in the front?
