Just got my fourth slot and I have no idea if i should get a second griffin fornanrdb setup or just work with the patton and change its weapons Slot 1: Natasha-2× pin and 2×kang dae: sniper. The pins are mainly for discouraging anyone who gets into cqc
Slot 2: Golem - 1 magnum, 1 thunder and 1 tulumbas. Primary brawler. Learning how to corner shoot this early as i heard its a useful skill.magnum is for applying pressure and doing some damage to shielded bots
Slot 3: griffin - 2× molots and 2× molot T's.... gunship and my go to mid range fighter

I think you don't have workshop points yet so punisher griffin is a good investment. You can use it till diamond league at least.

I would also change that Natty to 2 Thunders and either Pinatas or Puns. You have the Molot Griff for range and Kang Dae is,really, suboptimal. Or you could switch the Natty out for another Griff and go RDB... up to you.

I got 8k workshop points... not really much atm. And id like to ask... why are many people running a dual thunder build on natty? I mean. Its kinda slow.... not something you want when facing any rdb mech overall

I got 8k workshop points... not really much atm. And id like to ask... why are many people running a dual thunder build on natty? I mean. Its kinda slow.... not something you want when facing any rdb mech overall It has to be used carefully and at the right time. Each battle has a flow... and, over time, you can get a feel for when builds are more likely to show up. Not always, obviously, but most of the time you can see whats being used and drop accordingly. If you get caught by a dbl Thunder Natty with no cover and in close range, you die. That's why it's usually ran. The goal is not to use it when nothing but LR and MR are out. Molot Griff would counter all of that. Instead, use it on BR when you need a LOT of power, quickly, at a contested beacon. Or anytime when you can see the Reds are lacking in protection from that build. You would be surprised how good the Battle Natty can be if driven well, especially in Silver and below leagues, but even on up to Gold. If that is not your cup of tea, then like I said, add the RDB Griff in with the Gunship and the Leadhose and have an air force with a Golem solo ground interdiction force! (PS I am keeping my answer focused on Ag or cheap WSP/Au equipment... so there are other otions. F2P, though, I would run something like what I said.) IMO. YMMV

Im guessing a leadhose griffin is more of an in your fsmace damage dealer brawler vs the all molot mid range fighter right? And i guess i can try to run natty with thunder and pins so i can learn more about brawling... thinking of saving up the wp for a raijin so i can run double thunders on it and turn into a beacon ambush/sentry in beacon rush. Ive had my share of helping and facing those. Nasty business

I would go in a different direction. You need a beacon capper, and if you already have 8k WSP, keep saving til you can get a Rhino. Then, save your gold for a pair of Orkans and build a DB Rhino. Until you get the Orkans though, you can do a leadhose Rhino. More HP than the Griffin and more capable to brawl with, and ground speed to get you to cap a beacon.
Raijin is also not a bad idea. But you really have to ask yourself if you're ok with all the slow bots, or if you'll have more fun in a fast bot. Stalkers are a ton of fun in the lower leagues. And if you grind during the events, you can easily get Aphids for free as well as Magnums.
It's also not a bad idea to consider a Carnage too. It'll likely have the lowest learning curve for you.

Ah right. Forgot about that nasty bugger. Ill probably get that first and ditch natty once i do. Also not much of a light plager.... although all i really have is a cossack which i beacon cap with

My choice would be also be to add a punisher Griffin. They are good brawlers in close combat but can still be effective up to 500m away allowing you to deal dammage on pilots with weapons that are only effective up to 300 or 350m away. A punisher Griffin can also deal good dammage to physical shields and wear down energy shields. ... a great all rounder for sub 500m skirmishes.
You could also try running a Tulumbus/Pin Griffin for 300m-500m range ... they are good fun but weak against energy shields and good against physical shields... personally I would ditch the Molot Griff in favour of a Tulumbus/Pin Griffin and add the Punisher Griffin in your new slot.
There are of course loads of other options such as Leo or Vytaz builds, or perhaps setting up something small, fast and nimble as a beacon catcher.

Decided to put a cossack woth a spare tulu as a beacon capper/harasser for slot 4 and swapped to double thunder for natty atm. Probably gonna save up for a rdb griff so i can learn how to use the style properly and try to learn more about brawling with a more durable mech. My golem is all about corner shooting and flanking distracted heavies

At this point I would save all I could, while leveling up weapons. The next event shouldn't be to far out, see what you could grind to then start making decisions based on that.
That being said you can't go wrong with griffins and I'll use my Leo far more than my Natasha. I would go for griffin number 2 with punishers.
My best advice is take it slow and know where you want to go. You can always decide to go further if youy want to.

... why are many people running a dual thunder build on natty? I mean. Its kinda slow.... Natasha is one of the bots with cheapest upgrade costs and fastest upgrade times. At lvl 9 all bots reach their max speed. And Natasha is very versatile and very useful, even in higher leagues (Expert). I have used a Natasha a very long time in different roles. My favorites were: -2x Trebuchet + 2x Gekko -2x Trident + 2x Spirals -2x Thunder + 2x Magnum -Thunder + Ancile + 2xAphid

It IS a death sentence to let a natty get the first salvo in many brawls..... also having much success with my cossack as a capper. The tulu is used mainly for supporting (adding some damage to a red while its fighting someone else) or assasinating anybody in a terribly maimed mech(though i only do this if said mech is alone) and i usually try to gun for either an unguarded beacon or slip in and cap while the reds guarding it are engaged in a firefight with some fellow blues
