I came back after 6 month and I have all this gold. Oh and I 3/4 of my robots are gold premiums with gold premium weapons. (I didn't pay, I saved up a lot.
I have a Gareth with Taran and magnum, I have a double thunder carnage, an Orkan/pinata rhino and a Natasha with an ECU, gekko, zenith and trebuchet
any suggestions?

Doesn't matter if you don't have a fitting bot, get it. It is extremely worth it. If you got a Lance it might end up getting nerfed, but you can't nerf a slot  . Also, do something about that Natasha. I would honestly just replace it and put a plasma Griffin in. Then, since you HOPEFULLY got the 5th slot, put an RDB Griffin in for some range. The Gareth is fine, though it's really weak and Carnage does just fine as a beacon getter. I would suggest replacing it with a punisher Griffin. It absolutely SHREDS robots. |

The orkans and gekko are gold..... I suppose that is sort of 3/4? 5th slot for sure. And purely silver bots and weapons will do as well as a lot of the gold bots. As mentioned above get an RDB griffin (Tullubas pins) and a punisher griffin and scrap that bits and pieces nat. |

5th slot absolutely. If you have 5 slots already, the Lancelot still takes a fair bit of beating.
I have a tarancilot, which sometimes gets stomped but more often does the stomping for itself. Especially if you get behind tall thin cover (like on moonbase beacons) and shoot from EITHER SIDE of the cover. This is becoming a useful tactic in Deathmatch as well, with some of the tall thin obelisks they have put in.

Fat as F@@k, but hilarious if you can keep the obstacle between you and their guns. On the other hand, a kumiho ran straight inside my shield yesterday and blew me up with orkans pretty much instantly. Poor fat Lance. So we all have our weaknesses. If you can somehow get a dash bot then go with that instead. |

I am in the same boat, I have saved gold and need to decide how to use it. I have my fifth slot and some gold and WS bots and weapons, but I do not have any Lancelots or Furries, otherwise I have one each.
I am worried about the new update and what it might do to gold and obtaining gold bots. I feel like I need to use it soon or it will become devalued.
Should I skip Lancelots and Furries and work towards dash bots? This would mean waiting to use my gold.
Thank you, any advice is helpful, I have been playing about a month after a 16 or so month break, there are many differences.

5th Slot - 1st / Last / Always before anything else.
The only time you can buy 25% more and that does not change.
I am an old school champion at this point. I have 2 Lances in hangar, nothing newer than a Brit bot. With all that has / is being released I would sink Au into Orkans & Zeus before a Lancelot.
