Yep, even in a world of highly unskilled Haechi pilots, the Kumiho is the true king. It's combination of firepower and mobility is unmatched, and no other bot can single handedly affect the outcome of games quite as much as this bad boy.

Haechi is better and I would take a Bulg before a Kumiho too. 3 weapons vs 2 is an easy decision. Include the shield and this thread should be locked for trolling.

Yeah, but its the wrong colour, looks like a fruit, something citricy.
When it gets a skin that makes it look like a Anime Ninja, then I'll consider it,

I love the Khumino for grabbing beacons but after I grab beacons I'm ready for another bot.

I agree, in the hands of unskilled pilots, a Haechi hides flaws much better. A skilled pilot does a lot more damage (not literally) with a Kumiho. You have two medium slots, best equipped with Orkans, and basically nothing can hit you if you're smart. But people will try to hit you, and you can use this against them. You can single handedly control the tempo and area of a game with a well piloted Kumiho.

I have a 9/11Orkan Kuminho and I love it. It can avoid or run away the red I don’t want to face. it can really survive fo a long time if I play it carefully; it can get to the situation or place I prefer in very short time.
However, it need too long to reload enough to do damage again if my Orkan is empty. Which is the disadvantages of 2 Orkans. Even it is fun, but I don’t usually run it more than 2-3 mins due to low damage overtime.

100% best range control in the game kumiho has. Once you know how to use that along with cover and dashing kumiho is far more than a beacon capper. He is an antagonist with the ability to kill anything when played right. I am seeing more and more players use kumihos despite having haechi and bulgasari options to fill that slot. The reason is they have developed the skill to make him shine. You have to be hyper aware especially with the shocktrain laser light show these days. The hardest bot to take out is a well piloted kumiho.

One is beacon capper while another is tank like lance. I own both of them and also have faced bulg in one vs one while I was capping beacon with my kumi . Although I thought same as you but most of time I won against bulg specially if attacking it when it used both of his dash. Unless bulg got Shocktrain a bulg vs kumiho would actually be fair matchup and no matter who would win it would be too close. I’ll choose a kumiho over my bulg anytime

Kumiho is best beacon capper it is true. But with pdb Hover it is not so hard to take him down.Pdb Hover is great counter vs orkan dash bots especially vs Kumiho and Haechi. Only problem with Hover is that he needs a lot of practice but if you give him time he is awsome.

I've posted a bit about how Adrian rated kumi too low and yes I think it's amazing when you know what you're doing with it. It's ability to get places is unsurpassed and that's important, it is particularly good as a late drop and I find I'm doing this more often now as opposed to opening with it.

I've used a shocktrain Kumi to piss of shocktrain Haechies and Shocktrain Bulgasaries. You just need to know when to shoot and when to duck.

Geez, those drops cant come soon enough. Sitting on close to 8k in components for the kumi. Ive tested kumi extensively on a friends account. It is a gamechanger when setup and played right. It shares many tactics with the rog and has a couple more of its own.

Difficult to hit them and maintain hitting them since dash is almost instant for them. 2 mediums isn't something to dismiss.
I've seen them piloted well and learned very quickly to prioritize them as the major target.
They can really impact the outcome of a game.

Only problem with Hover is that he needs a lot of practice but if you give him time he is awsome. With two dashes almost always in reserve, and subsequent dashes available every 5 seconds, it isn't difficult at all to take very little damage from a PDB. You can use the dashes to simply stay out of range until they move on to another target and then come swat at them again. Or you can use the dashes to circle them - you'll take some damage this way but guarantee you'll win the encounter if you move properly. It does take practice learning to lead your aim properly so that you'll be on target after your dashes, and once you've mastered that you'll have a totally different experience with the bot. Nothing in the game can stay alive like a Kumiho can.

Everyone knows the Gary’s the King... Maybe one day it was, but no longer. Dash was a Gareth killer, as you can no longer control ranges with him. That I what kept Gary on top for so long, but without the ability to control ranges, the Gareth has almost no survivability. Being able to dictate range is perhaps the single most valuable trait in the game. And the Kumiho does it best and it's not even close with any other bot.

Maybe instead of "the best", you could just say it's your favorite. Opinions vs facts. Again, this "opinion" as you put it is for skilled pilots only. I totally understand why terrible pilots opt for the Haechi. For truly skilled and aware pilots, nothing can do what the Kumiho can. That's not an opinion, it's a fact.

It looks like an alien pile of trash now, but performs exactly the same. It's not what's on the outside that matters... well that's where weapons go so it actually is what's on the outside that matters. But true beauty comes with maximum agility.

At least until gareth gets a dash module installed.... Only if the dash bots can't equip the same module to store extra dashes. Then Gary would make a comeback.

A couple of things to keep in mind. 1) The only weapon that gets a fix is Scourge (smug grin). 2) They just don’t like the terrain on Dreadnought. Stutter all over the place.
