for different goals?
Beacon Task? Win Task? Kill Task? Damage Task?
For non-task/non-event: Dom? BR? TDM?

My favorite map is valley because it is pretty.
But its the map I usually get too aggressive on, so it's not the best for my damage/kill score.

I have 2 favourite maps. They work for wins(team pls)kills and beacons if I play well.
Valley and Dead City. Both preferably in BR, as DOM gets boring sometimes. I do hope they give me BR back... Tired of Dom on Yamatau and 3 fury zeus taking my team apart.

Shenzhen. Park a Zeus Raijin at home beacon and your set for damage and team support.

Dead City!!!!!!!!
I've had the most fun overall in Dead City matches. My style is the all out brawling. Ducking behind obstacles, out maneuvering around them, corner shooting, etc....it's just so good! Lots of beacon flipping happens and it can really come down to the teeth grinding bitter end.

Not a big fan of large maps, TDM and domination mode. Period.

Dead City is my absolute favorite. If Pixonic starts removing maps in favor of new ones to fit their new "aesthetic" then I am out.

Moon map is my favorite, most of my bots are brawlers. But I get my highest damage on Springfield... go figure

I think everyone's least favorite map is probably Yamantau
I have fun on every map aside from Yamantau....

Yamantau is one of my favorites. It allows lots of strategy.
Same with Star Wars Destroyer map. But they play very different. Forces tend to be more spread out, so team work can be iffy. Also, the spawn is open to sniper attack, so at high levels, a MKII Butch Treb is waiting for guys to spawn in, so the map gets a notch taken down.
Yamantau is all about centre beacon. No forces spread out unless it's a distraction mission. So it's easier to use team work to climb up the ramp as you know where all your teammates are. Plus the spawns are protected so you can't get sniped. I'm still learning about new spots, hills, and tactics I can use on this map. My play book is the biggest on this map. I also do fairly good even if red has centre beacon and it's BR mode.

Dead city is the best place for Griffins to jump into my Leo's gaping maw. And the fact that the center beacon is the best place for ambush.

Shenzhen followed by DC and the moon.
All maps are OK provided they do not allocate the same one disproportionately. Even yama which I know a lot of people don't like.
Having said that I am starting to dislike dreadnaught.

Valley and power plant, I guess moon too. Also the enjoyment can be null when your stupid team drop a long range bot in these short maps.

Yes, I like yama because of the simplicity of the centre beacon situation. that simplicity makes you think of very fine detail and you really know when you messed up. Teamwork is also important.

Yes, I like yama because of the simplicity of the centre beacon situation. that simplicity makes you think of very fine detail and you really know when you messed up. Teamwork is also important. Yamantau is terrible. You never have to worry about your sides or back. If you do, then someone messed up. You never have to worry about your other beacons, unless your team practically allowed it to happen (or it’s the end game and you already lost). It’s a map that goes straight forward the long ways. This makes for movements less the dynamic than any of the other maps. Everything is basically in front of you. Springfield in domination is second from the bottom for me. It’s vastly enhanced with BR though. All the other maps I’m fine with whether its dom or BR. If there’s one thing I have to give Pixonic great credit for is how much they have improved designing maps. Their understanding of field of view and providing adequate cover in crucial spots is quite impressive. Also worth noting, I would rank Power Plant higher if they do something about the hill spawn.
