Here we have a hovering Raijin that flew in the air a few times in this game. As soon as people were on to him and realized he was doing it...his name disappeared. He basically cloaked himself to prevent being reported...but not before I got this screenshot of him returning to the ground.

Not 100% sure in these cases, but it could be a flaw in the map design when there are invisible objects or structures that Raijin is able to crawl on. I was able to do this with my Raijin on Valley map yesterday - wanted to get some hight to shoot over the middle platform from the lower left corner of the map, started crawling on the gate that is at the wall and 3 seconds later I was more than 100m above ground. I imagine it looked like I'm flying with my Raijin to others. Some moments later another Raijin also did this, but in the lower right corner of the map.

Raijin is able to crawl up in the edge of maps. He is not flying.

There's a spot on Dead City where there's essentially an invisible stairway to the sky. You can never stop crawling on it though. If you stop, or go 8nto bastion mode, you begin to sink again. I saw a Raijin in the sky once there and later in a game found it myself. No custom mode then so unfortunately science had to be done during a live game. I felt like GlaDOS. I think I still have a screenie saved. There we are!

I hate beacon swappers. So screwing over this one in BR Yama was particularly satisfying. First Dan Hall came up the open bridge side and I met his Stalker near our side's weapons tower head on. He did that shaking torso motion indicating he didn't want me to shoot him. I did the same motion and shot him in the face until he died. Then he dropped his Gareth and proceeded to come up the exact same direction. Bad move. I met him halfway and let him have a nice juicy Aphid sandwich. Of course now he's armed so I have to backpedal running side to side to try snd avoid some of his fire but I was still slamming his face with my potent Aphids. Got a little assist from a teammate once I was backed up to the platform but managed to finish him with another wet slap of Aphid fire. Must have really p*ssed him off because he makes a beeline straight for me in his Carnage. By this time I've been kicked pretty hard by his Gareth and finished off by an opposing RDB Griff. So I dropped in another Missile Mule and started raining fire at his Carnage on the center platform from the covered bridge side. This really set him off. Up the ramp he comes to the bridge concentrating entirely on my Aphid 「bum-bum」 while my teammates start chewing him to pieces. By the time he hits the top of the ramp I let go with a finishing salvo right in his face under his Ancile and he dies ignominiously. I get taken out a moment later by a plasma Griff. I drop back in on the home spawn point with my MkII Plasma Pony and who do I see running around under the center platform in a Rhino? Yup, same guy. So I make a beeline for him and start lighting him up, giving him a good chase because once again he locks onto me ignoring all others. I keep running him around the center platform keeping up a steady stream of warm and tasty plasma as my teammates help me chop him to pieces. Even though my team lost I was very satisfied with p*ssing this player off and causing him to focus entirely on me to his detriment. He got meched out while I finished the match in my third light bot. This is what I love to do with this profile, grab beacons while biting and kicking opponents to distraction until the match ends. And any time I get to slap some 「fluffernutter」tarded beacon swapper it just makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over. It didn't hurt that a Silver Cat took down a Gold Dog either.

Isn't it a little self-serving to say "Don't hate the player" when you have 12/12 gear in Bronze I?

Hmmm, at the rate I'm going with my Steel Cat profile I'll be running all 12/12 gear in Silver by mid spring, some of it MkII. But maybe I'll get back into Gold with it by then. I wonder if I'll be considered a tanker because of it? That profile has only had one medium bot in it before. But I sold it once I got my 4th slot. Hell, it may not matter by then. I've been seeing Recruits-Diamonds and even a few Experts in most of my matches lately. It seems the player pools are evaporating. ?

Just a question here, but isn't the newer MM supposed to deal with this? Can't they use experience points and hanger population to determine battles? Another thought would be that the points can't go down. If you can't tank your points this whole issue disappears. Why is that so difficult?

Maintaining your league? Do you mean that somehow I will drop down leagues? How does this happen? If you do so The PIXONIC Way you tank your rank by using their prescribed matchtanking algorithm combined with their sh*tty "league" ranking and reward points system.

Another thought would be that the points can't go down. If you can't tank your points this whole issue disappears. Why is that so difficult? 1. As new equipment is released people would be stuck on high leagues where they can't compete. 2. Maintaining your league is a fun challenge and the reason people play the game! A lot.of players bounce up and down the ladder. Using my main profile I indeed bounce up and down those ridiculous "leagues" as I enjoy playing my entire inventory. Although I do not enjoy intentionally using equipment that is weak in upgrades as tankers do to try and drop through the ranks. And for myself I do not play to maintain any arbitrary ranking. I think PIXONIC's ranking system is a sick joke. My bouncing in those stupid "leagues" comes from the fact that different hanger builds and their intent on the battlefield causes my damage potential to fluctuate wildly. And that's the biggest reason I detest the "league" ranking system. Because the ranking points are directly tied to wins/losses. Sucks for the players that are actually concerned with their rankings because they can't/won't change up their hangers so they can just enjoy using some of their rusting inventories. It's obvious to you and I how changing up our hangers messes with our rankings but have a little patience with me for a moment please and let me explain it to those who don't know already. If I use an all heavy moderately upgraded bot hanger and do moderately well with it I will get a moderately high damage average per match that puts me into the top three finisher in the after action reports more often which translates directly into higher ranking points on that "league" board. But if I switch my hanger up and start running all light bots at the same upgrade levels and still do moderately well with it for its purpose I will more than likely obtain a lower damage average overall which means I fall down to the lower end of the after match reports more often and thus my ranking points will start to go down because of any lost matches. Because you lose more points than you gain in relation to the flipside of the after action reports. If you're last place in a loss you lose 22 ranking points. If you're last place in a win you only gain 3 ranking points. Even if you get first place in a win you gain only 15 ranking points. With an average win/loss of 50/50 this system sucks. I'm not digging up the point system chart but suffice it to say that a player that places below the top three in damage on the after action report gets shafted by the ranking points if they maintain a 50/50 win/loss average. Thus the player that changes up their hanger will find that they will move up and down that stupid "league" board without intent. That is not a tanker player though. That is simply a player enjoying the game. But the gods help that player if they drop to what some consider too low on the ranking tree because as soon as they decide to change their hanger up again for their brawlers, even if the equipment is the same upgrade levels as their lighter stuff, people automatically assume that that player is a tanker when in truth they are not. And this is all because we get placed in matches according to our ranks(supposedly) and not by equipment and upgrades. I refuse to bow to the "league" system or be bullied into playing with just one class of robots by other players calling me a tanker. I do not throw matches and I do my very best to obtain the beacons and the wins no matter what equipment I run. If I look like a tanker because of my equipment choices at times that is not on me. I didn't create the system which screws with my ranking.

I have been playing for about 2mo.and the multitude of rules, ranking and such confuses the crap out of me.I mainly use a rotation between 7 or 8 heavy and middle bots with levels in the 7 to 10 range same with weapons. I fluctuate between Silver league 1and 2 playing to win.Currently in the 48-50 win pct.One day it's all good winning around 70 to 80 pct. Then the next day I'm facing Seal team 6 with L12 one shot killers and the wins drop to 10 pct.Needless to say it's not fun,I don't need to tank the MM do it for me.

I can't believe I have to contend with a MK2 maxed out player. I dont stand a chance. I do hope they are dealing with this. they claim a new MM algorithm but we will see.

I love this game and just don't know why ppl have to ruin it, cheating to win gains no respect and is connected to some really bad karma... The individual is not bringing out bad feelings of just a few but of the masses as War Robots has a player base of ten million.I am a gamer from the Atari pong days and have played and seen it all. So far in this game I am certain of these cheats being used: Invincibility, Ingame Player Swap, No Squad Full Squad, Override Pix Protocols, and my favorite,7 seconds 7 zip and here a gift: when their whole squad starts bugging out your definitely not gonna win causes there bringing in the Ringers...Not much can be done about this and any dreams I had about using my 40 yrs of gaming and military training to be a War Robots guru got stomped on after the first xmas event (which I did complete) due to the rise of azz hoes trying to burst my bubble, which they did and now I just play casually because its still fun and I did manage to finish the Chinese New Year event. How you ask, they can't be everywhere at once and really good luck when I needed it. Final thoughts... I salute Pix for creating this wonderful game and give credit where credit is due, It is one of the best I have played and seen. But their lack of responsibility of fixing problems due to not being able to or just not giving a crap is something I cannot overlook and has taken this masterpiece to a 3rd rate pig and donkey circus act... And to all of you who ruined this game for me... F**K O** AND DIE!!!! Its your own misery and weakness that makes you do what you do and it will come back to bite you in the 「bum-bum」.
